i should go for the piercing light yes?
Which they unfortunately they instantly nerfed cause it only worked with mod swapping which they no longer allow. Was a bit odd given that they opted to nerf this given how generally all end game builds are "overpowered". Yet they decided to nerf such a niche gley sniper build that only worked for one purpose which was insane boss insta damage.
I guess killing a boss in 1-10 seconds is imba but killing it in 15-30 seconds is not (the difference being those 15-30second build work on all content not just bosses)? /shrug

when you allow modswapping type "builds" it becomes an absolute NIGHTMARE to balance things because now you have to compensate for nonsense like that or like... idk Bionic Fuel Bunny precharging in the startup timer into Tightrope'd Electric Condense idk just thinking of some silly build that "might" benefit from a mod swap lol.. and then eventually communities of online games tend to focus on minmax and now if you DONT modswap you aren't worth the time etc.
it's a slippery slope of madness that never should exist in games with loadouts that's all I can't really describe/explain it better =/
Agreed. Modswapping allows people to "use" two transcendent mods (and mods of similar groups like two cooldown mods, etc.) in tandem which defeats the whole purpose of locking it behind 1 use per build.
The devs seem fine with quick clears and OP builds, as long as it is within the rules set in place. In this case, 1 mod of each group/category per build.
How anyone can fail to see an exploit like this, as an exploit, is beyond me.
People consider game mechanics, mechanics until the devs pull up and say its an exploit.
After that, they cry about it. Sometimes the devs then cater to them, and make it a mechanic.
Otherwise just keep it at base purely for its ability to strip boss buffs.
There's are better uses of mats than maxing both of the sniper rifles TBH.
Does not matter, apparently. Demonic Modification for this build apparently is not attainable anymore. At least, not according to the game when you go into access inventory and search where to find it.
