Why do Ultimate Reactors suck?

Even though I have a Thundercage equipped in one of my slots I dont get the bonus if I switch to one of my other two guns? Epic Reactors work if you have a gun matching it equipped in a weapon slot even if your not using it. Why are you limited to 1 gun with the Ultimate?

Yes it is stupid. They need to remove this mounting requirement and change it to equipped like the purple rectors have.

It needs to be changed to where if you have the weapon equipped in any slot it still gives you the access to the reactor like the others.

depends exclusively on your ultimate weapon. For Valby thundercage mounted reactors are quite numerous and since she is usually painting the map, she gets the 160% benefits and the run speed in between. Most of my other toons have great reactors but they are purple. Overall I agree the gold reactors are crap and just another rng factor to deal with.

It is called "tradeoff" and it is made so you have to decide...Just imagine they dont exist if you dont like them, they are there just as an option.. they are not rare, they are a pain to manage and destroy...You are way more powerfull with your skills, the tradeoof is that you have to manage another thing in the game and make sure you have that gun in your hand when you use your skills.. and that is.. perhaps they had to call them "pink" reactors so people dont get mad about the "golden" item being weird...Oh man.... Since they added "Color" codes to game items, games are becoming more stupid...

Yeah if it said "Thunder Cage Equipped" instead of "Thunder Cage Mounted" it would be way better. That way it would still require you to own the unique gun for the power boost. Edit: Spell Gud

The trade off is that you have to have the Ultimate not just any gun I have the Ultimate equipped in a weapon slot the Ultimate reactor should work. That would make it work like every other reactor the game had up to this point. A trade off that your 160% stronger with only 1 gun that requires you to grind to get and makes you 60% weaker if you swap to one of your other 2 equipped guns. Thats a awful system.

That only seems like it works because the weapon moved was the Ultimate so your character is holding it. Do it the other way around reactor is still not active.

I rlly don't understand how they could mess up a legendary equipment. Legendary should feel like something amazing but instead, it feels more like a nerf. I mostly been running a purple reactor just because of these stupid mount this and that mechanics.

yeah the current system makes ultimate reactors useless unless you get the best affixes and weapon to match which is near impossible to get

memory units with ecive duration modifiers are still more disappointing than gold reactors that aren't for thundercage

Because it adds a level of thought and consideration? Like, I dunno what you want. Would you prefer all purples to also be useless? Jesus dude.

The SINGLE difference between Purples and Yellows is that a Yellow gets you a 20% increased Skill Power boost at the cost of requiring you to have a specific weapon equipped. That's a CHOICE you can make. Or stick to purples.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this system. I like having choice and decisions, thanks.

if there would no downside to ultimate reactors, u just dump all purple reactors coz there would be no reason so use one ir ultimate is always stronger. u get 40% bonus all the time or 60% bonus with the correkt weapon in use, i think that is a great trade off.
