What is the best descendant for boss killing? I know there are a ton of videos on youtube but I'd rather read some opinions. Just got to hard mode and I'm trying to decide what descendant to farm for.

Probably would be Gley but I think it's more of personal preference on which one you really like and want to kit out. I mean the damage on your weapons can be changed to match what they are weak to so really boils down to if you want to add the character's powers into the mix to exploit the weakness even more or not.

Gley , Lepic (ultimate) , Sharen , Valbee.

Gley and Valbee would be the less expensive and most simple to play.
Sharen requires lot of investement + you need a very expensive and hard to make rifle - afterglow. And you need to make this rifle 5 times , to get it to tier 4.
Also she requires a VERY good aim - you must be able to hit moving target in a tiny weak point from 60-100m
Lepic ultimqte one is hqrd to get qnd required lot of time.

So...Gley or Valbee

Tbh, I don't think it has any major difference. Most damage is coming from weapons, not skills, anyway.
Just pick any character you are comfortable.
On hard mode only Dead Bride (huge AOE) and Frost Walker (team mechanics) can be difficult for team.

neither gley or ultimate gley is "locked" with frost walker

I’m just planning for the long term, and besides the obvious utility related Descendants, I was at a loss of which ones are good when it comes to bossing hence why I made a post. Farming bosses is not first on the list but you can think what you want.

Did you just call valby a boss farmer? The character that relies on the enemies to stand in her puddle? That valby? Her ult does no damage to bosses, the Q even with max range increase isn't big enough (Plus it is 31x skill power.) and her Water trail/water play, while big enough, still has to be stood in.

I presume you're talking about the "Supply moisture." build? Which at that point, would be better off using any other character because you'd have skills and firearm damage, not one or the other. I love Valby, but she isn't a boss killer. Also, ultimate lepic and lepic are the same (Minus some basic stats.) and his ultimate transcendence skill won't make a lick of difference in comparison to regular lepic.

Bun-Bun cuz she can run fast and not get caught by the bad colossi. Gley if you want the bad colossi go back to where it came from "like real fast".
None cuz any colossi that has any mechanic can't be done in "matchmaking" cuz people are the dumb.

Best for Boss Smashing: Gley
