Are Any Ultimates Worth Grinding For?

My major complaint is when you get to late game and think about grinding your gear off you look at the ultimate options and they seem lame.

I have the thunder cage modded out pretty nicely but meh.

Secret Garden? sigh
Python?

The best I have seen is the debuff stack one Python or Enduring Legacy.

Still, seems lame Tamer goes brrr too much idk

if u have alot of time can grind then go for it, but im just stick to normal descendant and farm weapon and mods, i like my valby and enzo so much

bunny but just bc she is hot lol. fr tho not really the main thing that they have on non ult characters is the fact that some have exclusive mods so some builds could be off limits to you if you do not have one but for just a general are they better not really they have slightly more health, shields and, def

all the guns are fun i would recommend getting the ult gun afterglow its a super good sniper

I have ultimate Ajax but yeah bro I guess ultimates are just for fun not exactly meta. I love sniping but need to solo so Bunnies dont kill them out before hand.

True, I'm a min/max slave but sometimes meta does feel needed in Hard public colossi.

I have used both extensively Tamer & Thunder Cage.
TC is the best for trash mobs in normal mode but nothing puts them down and has less reload than a well optimized Tamer, especially for Ajax.

Oh man, using Sharen with a thunder cage, Perforator, and afterglow is so nice. The grind to get them to their peak power is rough, but worth it.

Assassin's Edge is better Hand Cannon, twice the base crit rate.

And yes I do use it, it's the 2nd most damaging MG after the Tamer without the accuracy problems (but trade it off for a low weak spot attack and ammo cap which you have to compensate for).

That makes me curious. I looked at the cavalry gun and it has awfull stats. Literally the worst DPS from all weapons and all the other stats are trash too.

Maybe Im missing smth but it just seems a very very awfull weapon all around. Is there anything I missed?

The problem with it is the low ammo cap, weak spot damage and I forgot the slow rate of fire. Per round fired, it's actually second only to the Tamer in damage. If you correct for the slow rate of fire and the ammo cap, it becomes a very good weapon.

The grind should give you an OP weapon. Not almost the same DPS as Tamer if you account for the built in debuffs.

Who thought it was a good idea to have a lvl 30 accessible gun (Tamer) be the meta and the ultimate come with so many conditionals that barely fit into non-attributed skill. A gun I have to grind for days should be waaaay better than Tamer.

I swear 99% of everyone runs thunder cage or tamer. Lame considering so many guns.

I hope Nexon buffs ultimates. They should feel amazing
for the work you put in.

Edit: That is not even counting the skill tuning cost on ultimates omg.....

id this game is following the warframe system, the mastery 15 weapons will be superior than all weapons in the same category that are not mastery 15 +.

Everyone saying their weapon is the best has not actually progressed far enough to see if thats true or not. First it was the tamer is BIS weapon in the game, and thats clearly not the case. The thunder cage was always garbage, and is maybe ok if you upgrade the skill on it to max. People under rated sniper rifles, people didnt consider gley + rocket launcher, and so on.

As it has always been with games like this, your gear, mods, character, ect all make a weapon viable. At the end of the day every gun will be good enough for all content.

Taking ultimate bunny became definitely worth it, after I have received the high voltage perk.
