Report a translation problem
Some general mods I use on most characters are ones that increase health and defense. If they use a shield equip a mod for that as well. Whatever melee weapon you decide to use level that mod all the way up because it increases capacity. If your character has a polarity available for a good mod then you can level that one as well because it will be half capacity cost. Skill cooldown is also useful.
As far as weapons one that I used for most the game is the Thunder Cage. But on bosses something like a Tamer is better. 2nd weapon slot I usually have a scout rifle or laser though lasers are kinda niche. Last slot I almost always have a rocket launcher of some sort. Vestigial Organ or one of the unique ones that have either high fire rate or magazine size.
I only use Shotguns on characters that fight up close like Sharen or Velby. Don't really have a favorite yet because they all do some crazy damage.
