Maximizing Weapon Proficiency

Has anyone done some proper testing on maximizing weapon proficiency?

What do people do to level up weap prof real quick so they can polarize a slot again?

Any tricks in particular? I ask since it's not something I looked into much tbh.

Black kupier mining survival mission in sterile lands. Stay till wave 6 boss and then leave. You will gain 10-15 levels of weapon exp (from 0-15 mind you.) in those 6 waves and they can be anywhere from 4 minutes in total to 15 minutes in total. Bring a strong clearer and enjoy the exp flow. I use valby and well, it's fast.

Also, find a component with a yellow weapon prof exp booster.

I recommend doing the swamp run with a built bunny.

I have been doing Hard Fortress - Fallen Ark - Void Fragment mission to farm weap prof as it in a small room and easy to repeat and yes my main a a reg bunny.

Have any of you tried this one to compare to the swamp a b k mining?

The trick is the weapon you hold levels faster regardless of what kills the enemy.
Hold the gun you level in you hands and run that bunny.

Yeah I have been doing this, just wondering if there any other tricks I am not aware of!

I just do other stuff, they eventually get up anyway.

Otherwise, if you want to do it fast, then do missions with as many enemies as possible, most notably the defense missions and such.

Put on multiple copies of same gun.

I reset my character together with weapon so both level up during the defense missions while i get ready for another reset.

The Kuiper mining missions are the best to level in my admittedly limited experience. If you time it so both your character and weapon reset at about the same time, you get a 2 for 1 deal.

Oh I always feel it's faster to get character levels than weapon prof levels but that might be just in my head?

I usually do the chained defense missions when I just want levels for my character and weapons because you are fighting non stop.
