Vaults Not Giving Kuiper?

Anyone else having this issue? I opened 3 UPB vaults and got zero kuiper. Not a single one. All 3 types both hard and normal give me absolutely nothing...

Well i think UPB = Ultra precise breaker vaults

Correct. I've tried all colors, in both normal and hard. NONE drop kuiper for me. It doesn't show on the right side of my screen and it doesn't increase the count in my inventory. It seems to be completely busted for me.

I heard they were nerfed but haven't paid much heed to what it was giving the last two I opened as I open them just for activator/catalyst mats etc

I just opened a white one in hard and got 22k kuiper. I saw someone have this issue with gold where they weren't receiving it from missions etc, and switching characters seemed to fix it, so might be worth a simple decendant switch.

If still no luck, you'll have to go the ticket route my friend.

It would be nice if you could just buy kuiper because I'm not sure what to do with all this gold

Oh no you will run out of gold once you know what you're doing in hardmode. Research, upgrading, readjusting. All of that costs gold and you will be broke.

Hmm, it looks like maybe certain spawns can be bugged? I was farming one in Sterile Lands and no matter what type it was, it never dropped any. I went and found a different one on the same map and it gave it to me just fine.

It was the one next to the Unknown Laboratory dungeon. So it looks like that particular spawn is busted, or is at least busted for me.

Depends on the area. If it's early areas the vaults don't really give out kuiper. I noticed this since I was farming the reactor mission and got bored and decided to open one. I'd say only open good chests in later areas like Fortress, White Night Gulch, etc. It could just be specific areas, but I'm not gonna waste breakers to see. So I usually stick to Gulch and Fortress.

You'd be wrong because maxing out mods costs a fortune in kuiper and I have at least million gold at all times. Maybe something isn't dropping right.

Mate if you have Enzo and can open purple boxes easy they usually give around 70k kuiper in hardmode. Blues in hard give around 20k. Gold is the bottleneck of endgame because once you fully upgrade your modules you won't need to mess with it again VS needing to craft crystal catalysts, energy activators, ultimate weapons, gear enhancements, other characters.
A couple million is nothing. You burn through gold so fast.
