Best dps weapons to lookout for

I just want to know what weapons would be good to drop my mats on and know my time wasnt wasted what are some of the best dps weapons?

Afterglow sword and Python are pretty good bossing weapons. Otherwise Thundercage/Fallen Hope is pretty good for mobbing.

There is a build with the other sniper on Gley I think that you can use to literally oneshot hard bosses, but that's kinda specific and doesnt work that well in other builds. Forgot the name but iirc there are just 2 legendary snipers anyways.

Assassin's Edge: 40% crit rate, 2.0 crit dmg, 2.0 weakpoint dmg, this out does snipers all day due to using impact ammo (green) instead of high-impact.

Thunder cage's proc is an AOE electric explosion. It works wonders in clearing explosive spawn packs.

Why would you waste a mod slot for smth some weapons have by default. That's super inefficient.

I got contagious trans mod and im going to try it out with the auto rifle with the set from hard swamp walker to see if i can make a usable AOE frenya just need something for the other slots

Frost as well, if one frozen mob dies, it explodes and freezes anyone else near it.
