Shader slow load after updating nvidia drivers
Never had an issue with shaders until I updated my nvidia game ready drivers. Been 10 minutes and the shaders are still loading

Hopefully they amend it in hotfix on thursday

I had no issues after the driver update. It did recompile all shaders the first time i launched the game after the update, but after that completed no issues at all.

Maybe you could try a clean install?

ugh, didn't wanna do that but guess I'll have to

Sometimes I run in this issue too
What I do is close the game verify files and restart the game

The first shader reload takes a while but all the next ones are way faster

You can try that... mind you... if the game crashes you might have to do it again which can be really annoying if the game crashes a lot for you

Same here and the CPU is getting hot like Hell. 100% Usage with 93 Celsius, WTF is that?

And the Memory Leak in the V-Ram is worse then before, its getting faster full and stutters now.

Problem solved. Downgrade the Driver to version 556.12 | WHQL :-)

Same Problem just faster Shader Loading. Worth? Dont think so

Because it's completely rebuilding the shader cache.
Every single time you change drivers it's going to do that.
When it's done rebuilding, it'll be much faster. Give it time.

Doesnt explain why it use 100% CPU! Thats insane bad optimized and not good for Ur CPU at all.

The CPU is actively compiling the shaders as fast as it can.
100% CPU load isn't bad here unless you have a very bad cooling setup, in which case you should probably be undervolting it or upgrading your setup.

No, i have a good Watercooling System and its perfect at all i do and play, except this game and 100% cpu usage ist NOT normal for Shaders loading, never ever seen that before in a Game. My 12900KS is running 100% 93 Celsius and takes 300 Watts,,,i never seen that before in any Game i play only in Prime95 1 Hour testing :D

That CPU should only be allowed to hit upwards of 241 W, so for P95 and the game to be pushing it up to 300, or 93ºC in any case, indicates a problem with config or hardware somewhere along the line.
100% CPU usage is normal for compiling shaders in any game/software, and hardware is built to handle 100% utilization for extended periods of time without any issues, unless something else is going wrong (hint: it's not the game this time).
