Preparing shaders
Hello, everytime I load into a new area it has to load the shaders again, almost as if from scratch, which can take several minutes. Anyone else has this problem?

The steam shader pre-caching feature is only for Vulkan games. The GLCache folder only stores the driver's shader cache files for OpenGL games. This game is DX12 so these settings do nothing.

Shader compilation times depend on your CPU power and capabilities, so the longer times the weaker CPU power, and the shorter times the higher CPU capabilities.

it worked for me....

i used to load in 3 minutes into matches... collosi @ 7:30 and i did the nvidia folder delete and bam... now im in when other players are in... so idk, but it worked

Until I updated nvidia drivers the game was ok, now the loading is taking a very long time. I can't do the Obstructor anymore, when I complete the loading I've already died 3 times.
I've already done everything suggested in this post and a few more things like downloading the game again. Nothing worked.
Help?

Yes same.

need to reinstall game or verify gamefiles game is a buggy mess

CPU sitting on 100% and taking like 4+ min to finish loading screens


but after reinstall its back to normal.. and than coming back after 1-2 days

Thanks, but for example in call of duty it only needs to load shaders once until there is like an update or something, not every time you load the game or a new map. The shaders are for the general visuals of the game I think, not per map / location, but I could be wrong.
