accuracy is the bullet spread
Accuracy is self explanatory, it's the bullets not spreading out when you fire them. More of a thing in rapid fire weapons since the bullet spray will spread them out a bit.
accuracy is for grouping. you can see its effect on how tight the crosshair gets.
Recoil is the muzzle climb when a shot is fired.
accuracy is how big the reticle (crosshair) starts at
Recoil is how fast and large it expands also drives the muzzle up
when looking at a weapons mods press tab to see relative stats
+accuracy makes it smaller (up to 100) so has less effect on super accurate weapon
-Recoil makes the gun move less while firing and keeps the reticle tighter so has less effect on weapons that don't move much, there is no stat for this in the display so you will have to test it out to see if you actually need it. A good weapon to use -recoil on is the "burning 22" or whatever beam rifle. It moves like crazy without -recoil slotted into he mods
