THUNDER CAGE BUILD MAX CATALYST
Hi has anyone maxed out their thunder cage? I don't know which module to put last. I'm asking you for help because I don't want to make a mistake with the catalyst

Obviously the game is new and making 4 guns is just too costly ATM but Thunder Cage is so easy to farm having 4 of them wouldn't be that hard to do. I wont put it past that people will do this at one point and really atm only time will tell. These are my thoughts as a high level player who is good at video games.

You can't make 4 different Thunder Cages. weapons all have the same base template so if you activate one Thunder Cage all other TC you make will be activated and likewise if you add a polarity to one slot in one Thunder cage then all of them will have that polarity in that slot.
This might sound unpleasant, but make 2 maxxed thunder cages, 1 for crit builds and 1 for non crit. It will help immensely

Again I am fairly certain you can't do this.

Actually they are right, yea its how mods work dang. OK ty for pointing that out.
My build has higher dmg, but cool guide.
Question for OP can you see if it possible to make another build in the secodn build slot focusing a bit more on weak point damage?

I hear some debate that if you use this for intercept the a weak point build is more effective even if on the sheet it shows less dps. I have pretty much the same thing but haven't polarized lots yet so just wondering.

I am thinking of maybe dropping recycling genius and adding in weak point insight instead:

Wrong, the one he has on right now gives +120% crit dmg. Fatal Crit only gives 34% crit dmg. You're nuts if you think 1.5% crit chance is worth 86% crit dmg.

That depends on the current crit chance %. I don't remember the base crit chance for Thunder Cage, but every weapon has a different base crit chance. Some as low as 5%, so an increase from 5% to 6.5% is just as detrimental as 86% more crit damage. Crit damage % is pointless, if you never crit.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't add to base crit chance, it increases 5% by 1.5% which would be about 5.0525%. If you increased crit chance by 20% it would go to 6%. Pretty negligible.
I added Electric Enhancement to mine and I think the electric conductor, minus reload insight and Recycling, though I'm just messing around atm seeing what plays best.
