Here we go again ... (Game Crashing on start...AGAIN) ! ! !

After immediate small patch on Ult Valby release game crash on start got fixed and many players with this issue felt relief and was able to enjoy the game!

After a long and very hot day today, i had it in me to wait for a patch to install and enjoy some TFD grind while listening to random podcast when game crash ensued when i hit start button, it felt like PTSD train hit me.......

How long will we wait for this issue to get fixed again ? Will i have to be good at playing maze of possibilities that can start the game again? (Changing descendant, changing options, starting in widowed mode etc. before game start)

Conclusion i might make soon is that the game is not worth the hustle, constant stutters (even though PC specs are better than recommended), often disconnects, not being able to start the game because of the crashes etc........Personaly i enjoy the game even if sooo much more can be improved, but simply game cannot be played without things mention above and all after patch issues ! ! !

Does anyone else have same/similar issues after this patch or do i need to change platform/PC or even consider dropping TFD ? ! ? ! ?

Have you tried clearing your shader cache & verifying the game's files?

Yup, but its on their end imo, because last time this happened they patched it withing 24 hours after Ultimate Valby patch release and i was entering game no problems.

If it was on their end, I believe we all would be having these issues, but since that is not the case, I suppose it is related to specific hardware and other factors, so doing things on your end is the best first way to troubleshoot that

Crashes are on their end, and many people have issues with crashes on start, and disconnects in middle of some zones are on their end too, stutters i can see being issue connected with hardware, maybe just something not compatible.

My friend also have this, every other patch is unplayable for him.
fortunately he's not a completionist and he couldn't care less about the battle pass / challenge coins but it's still unfortunate not being able to progress togeter.

Yeah, unfortunate.
For me its first time a game makes this kind of issues, played many games before, played maxed graphics Cyberpunk with no issues ffs but hopefully they fix it soon !

They will need to do something about it, or players will lose patience and just leave the game behind !
