Anyway, I shall indulge, I would argue that ult ajax is not a huge improvement over regular Ajax (class mods are niche/trash in both versions and you're not going to notice or miss 1000def) so if you don't like his looks compared to the base skin you're really not missing out.

must be troll post got lepic ult pretty fast cuz i got some of his parts not farming for him so i just crafted him while farming for weapon parts now im 2 days in farming for viessa and all i miss now is the blueprint but im taking a break from farming for that atm so its not that hard to farm for them.... the whineing is abit to much at this point

Ultimate Ajax is probably the least significant of the ultimate characters. When you compare the lvl 40 base stats for Ajax and Ultimate Ajax, the only difference is that Ajax has 6291 Defense and Ultimate Ajax has 7435 Defense. All the other stats are the same.

Comparatively, Ultimate bunny at lvl 40 has 182 more HP, 24 more shield, and 279 more defense than basic Bunny.


Then there's the transcendent modules that are specific to the Ultimate version. There's 'Void Barrier' which changes the Orbit Barrier skill to be portable and only affected by skill power, which seems more like a detriment than leaving it stationary and firing your gun from behind it. Then there's 'Life Barrier' which changes both Orbit Barrier and Hypercube to only be affected by the character's HP, which feels pretty underwhelming.


He has 4 other modules that work on both normal and ultimate version, and most of them are pretty good.



So it wouldn't be a bad choice to stick with Ajax and eventually unlock Ultimate.

I bought ultimate ajax on launch.

That was a mistake, while he is one of the harder characters to farm, his best skills work on his standard version and the base skin looks the best out of all options / paint, I'm tempted to max out the base one just because he looks better despite having a completed ultimate ajax.

Save your money, for the cost of Ult you can buy boosters, activator and catalyzers to max him out and have money left over!

ive unlocked all ult descendants in like 5 days bruh i might';ve gotten extremely lucky but ay it is possible and no you dont NEED ult anything you only get a lil more hp and defense if im not mistaken unless some crazy ajax build comes out where you need or pref ult ajax trans mod
