So sick of gluttony
I'm just never going to be able to kill this boss.

I've failed 50 runs now and I'm at the point where I can avoid taking any damage from him while firing the ice balls at him.

But it's always the team mates. Some level 1 lepic with 0 defense or HP getting one shot, or a gley that is mindlessly shooting rockets ignoring the ice mechanic. A Valby will help with orbs but leave the second they are downed for the first time.

It's like no one can focus in and kill this boss, there are too many ways it can go wrong making this an incredibly frustrating encounter. I've just conceded I'll never see that Luna dps mod unless I get lucky combining ♥♥♥♥.

Also I understand that you know how to do the mechanics. At least that's how you describe the encounter to us. But seriously. I get tired of hearing, it's always someone else. A team is literally a team. Can not people accept the "team" was unable to come together? Then put blame on the team? Even if I know how to do something, I don't blame everyone else. It's the team. I even will partly blame myself for not even attempting to help coordinate the action of the team.

It's like welp I must of failed to take charge. Off to try again.

Anyways, better luck next time around. Don't give up!

No one in my friend group plays this game so I'm stuck with Pubs.

And sometimes I do make mistakes, but there is an insane amount of people who queue up for Gluttony who are just not prepared to fight him. Even one single person sandbagging will ruin the entire encounter causing it to fail, it requires near perfection. And if I am doing all the mechanics correctly and reviving downed team mates and clearing adds for supplies who should I be blaming then when the boss just eventually one shots us?

I'm not afraid to admit when I make mistakes, but I've fought this boss so many times that I have gotten down his mechanics, but if I'm the ONLY party member focusing on cooling him down than eventually the dps will be too much and we wipe anyways which is the most common thing I see is people just shooting weakpoints and not thinking.

Honestly they need to make drops on bosses available by other means.... Forcing people to run bosses gives you two choices as a Dev team.... Make bosses easy or face the backlash when people realize a boss is locking them out of what/how they want to play...

Example: Class mods

Mod exchange is not a reasonable alternative. People who say "make friends" is the answer are not helping. Although building a team sounds great it's not an alternative solo players will utilize and there is a significant amount of history that shows that games will suffer under the loss of solo players.

Go to the discord, ask people if they want to do gluttony, form a group, profit.

Honestly there only needs to be one balance change made to Gluttony and I will for sure bet that players will clear him more reliably.

When he goes invuln, he cannot leave the center of the arena so all three ice ball things can hit him more easily. That's it, just make it easier to hit him with the balls and he'll get cleared faster and more consistently.

you can combine for noise surge if thats what you want, just farm executioner or devourer youll get a stack of red mods then combine.

Sounds great.... 5 days later, doesn't sound great... Its not a reasonable alternative. Sacrificing mega resources for a very low chance exchange is easily as bad as face smashing Gluttony in PUGs. Unless you get lucky of course....

I am getting into discord for sure to get this one done. I have been close several times but the lack of communication is killing me. Literally.

My main problem is the hard wipe mechanic, when the mounted arm weapon fills up. I've had matches where i swear we have thrown more ice balls than a Pong game to this muppet, and it still sucker wipes the group toward the late 20%. Surviving isn't as bad anymore, now i see the moves are more or less telegraphed. His melee is insane though, i still haven't seen anyone survive that. Lcukily no need to get too close except for grappling.

Massacre Gley, Yujin, Enzo, maybe with a Ultimate Valby with Ult (for cooling down). Just in case Yujin and Enzo fail the water shoot.

Probably easier with 3x Massacre Gley and Enzo shoulder armor grab and break timings. Can probably kill it in less than 1 minute.

This is correct. It takes around 1 minute to kill him with that team. The problem is you need 3x 1hp gley. Even in a premade hard to do.

When i play with others on discord we use a pretty standard team. Takes around 3 minutes to clear but its safe. 2x Gley (launcher or massacre) 1x Lepic (uses two of the 3 available deaths to reset his cd for ultimate spamming) and one valby. Valby does 100% balls, one player is enough for them. He should die after his first immunity phase.

If you want red mods from gluttony its not as easy as the other bosses. He uses up some loot slots for the weapon (one part drops at each kill) and even at 40+ kills i have not seen lunas mod (its bad but for collection purposes). So its not about killing him once or twice.

guess Devs watched too many "Boss Builds" vids on Youtube and decided: hey, lets remodel Devourer and give him 100% more firepower and copy/paste Frost Walker's Dic kicking mechanics.

Also think about the new Ult Gun they made, all four parts can be only obtained by this Boss which is rediculous, i hope this new Ult Gun is worth the effort.

It is not worth it. No descendant fully utilizes its feature.

I hope the OP start making a post about what gear/moduels weapon he/she uses when que up. it can be OPs problem as well if he deals no damage or just die. Start with that then we can talk.

I have queed up multiple times with no problem. If the teams knows what to do, we que again.
And I also can solo dps the bosses with my Gley setup with over 110m dps+.

The fight aint hard, but if the group is full with no damage it will be harder :D its your and team fault

And t he best bosser in this game is Enzo,Lepic, Gley FYI, so you max them. If you boss with Bunny or other C-tier character its your own fault, for not mid-maxing
