Max Equipment slots, Storage slots $1,000 USD?

Currently, buying 100 Equipment slots *or* 100 Storage slots costs 2,500 Caliber which comes to about $50. Remember that's OR, not AND unlike Mastery leveling, which increases slots on both Equipment and Storage.
So if you wish to max both Equipment and Storage capacity, that will cost you about $500 each. Maxing both Equipment and Storage capacity comes to a total of about $1,000 USD.

While I am enjoying the game with over 320 hours and have yet to purchase anything, this pricing is quite intimidating. I do wish to support this game for what entertainment is has provided and I wish to see it grow and expand, however it would seem I'm more likely to spend on extra Descendant slots more than anything else.

Surely, Nexon is maximizing profitability while experimenting to see what the market/playerbase will find acceptable.

Nexon has and will always profit off of inventory space. In Vindictus they made you pay 80 dollars per character to get all of your inventory space and you certainly don't need max storage in this game. In vindictus, you weren' separated into categories, everything was in your inventory. So all the monster parts etc, took up space quickly and well. If you didn't buy space, you spent a fair bit of time sifting through what you could or couldn't keep.

You don't need to buy it. If you're a hoarder and can't dismantle anything, maybe then? You can increase inventory size with MR levels.

Just buy the skins and whatnot instead if you want to support. At least the skins you'll actually notice in game.

Some may choose to collect equipment suitable for every specific scenario and play style. Nexon has already indicated they wish to provide means for player capability to have more numerous builds. It scales collecting equipment in like manner would scale with additional upcoming Descendants. Would it be enough to maximize capacity of both Equpment and Storage slots? Time will tell.

Hopefully the trade system coming will allow to buy some common things from the shop, or weapon/descendant parts. There is no reason to buy anything else as they are too easy to get. Activators, yes a tiny 3% chance, but its the same 3% from all amorphs no matter how easy or hard, might as well farm the easiest and quickest of the lot for that.

Activators are starting at 6 on HM, and 10 with chance increase, you should rush to hard mode and farm it there, it will be 2-5 times more efficient tho.

Can do hard, :p But i have some 60+ amorphs on bosses that are 1 shot.

I have 430 slots and I'm always running out of space.

You need about 700 ish to be able to hold multiple build gear for many of your classes.

It's more like 30-40 components to be fair, 15 reactors and 15 weapons.

I mean sure if you have every Descendants and have multiple setups for them, but still... it's overkill as you're not likely to play with them all the time anyway. But sure. If you like to hoard rank up MR or buy slots. Ezpz.

Got each piece rolled for global def/shield/hp, got all descendants, and 3 boss sets. Few need different rolls, like some with mp/manareg, or those, with farming gear.

There aint even that many descendants.

Perfectly normal to hold that many. Holding 22 components myself, 24 reactors, and 20 guns.

There is no reason to buy more inventory slots tho, that would be a nightmare to look through and salvage 1000 items at once!

The UI filtering could use some work. Toggle between list, thumbnail and detail views. Checkboxes for Singular, Tech, etc. I realize this title is on consoles, too, but such features only make sense on PC.
