It is actually theft.
I mean... I'm making +- 420 per month...
As for D4, the base price is 70 bucks... More if you plan to get the expansion which meant you'll be cut off from part of the community if you don't. Or if you went "Ultimate", it's 100 bucks. Then the cash-shop for D4, the cosmetics is around 2000 platinum, from a top-down perspective where you hardly see the details...
TFD shop is cheap once you dump the idea of skipping the gameplay i.e. buying characters. BDO and Diablo 4 costumes are 20-50% more expensive, PoE costumes cost $80 easily - up to $200+
(I'm making $3k/month, with $2.5k expendable because I live in my mom's basement instead of renting flats for 3/4 of my salary - yet no way on Earth I'll spend a dime on skipping the gameplay, outside of the initial Ult Gley purchase)
I share your frustration though
e.g. I was doing "The Shelter (hard)" then "Devourer (hardmode)" loop several times a day for probably like a week to get the ult ajax code drop. It DEFINITELY doesn't feel like a 6% drop
"Money-maker" Enzo took a month to get all the "20%" components. Similar situation for Enduring Legacy gun.
Then Diablo 4 started new season, there are new lewd costumes. In BDO they've added bikini "armors".
Nexon is killing its revenue with the 0% drop rates and promises for the better hard-mode Frost Walker future (decreased hitpoints / easier mechanics). Yup, better future for Diablo 4 and BDO it is,
ive been target farming for new characters to fill out my 10 slots with the 'required' characters like enzo, sharen, a fire type, and viessa so that i can do all the void fragments, i can stealth outposts without needing to hit all 5 of the spawner things, and to make vaults easier and get 25k-75k kuiper from them. enzo, lepic, and blair were the worst for me because bad rng and lepic being hard to get with his stuff being locked behind hard mode unless you want to bank on a 6% lol. After that i relatively easily farmed most of the ultimate characters. The only ones that gave me trouble was Gley (all of her parts are 6% regardless of source), and ult viessa (awful luck with getting the 25% AM drops from outposts + unlucky with 1 of her parts. took around 40 pulls before i got it). The only ultimate descendent i dont have at this point is valby because shes 1 newer, and 2 i havent focused her yet, but ive gotten 2/4 of her parts passively so now im gonna farm the other 2. During all that farming for other characters + ultimates ive got a decent stock of parts for guns and the descendents i dont have like kyle, esiemo, jayber, and luna. of the 4, only luna is missing parts.
So passively farming stuff works at first and primarily for the base descendents and weapons, but you eventually have to decide "I want this thing and im going to focus it" or else you'll never get a lot of stuff or if you do it will be dozens of hours if not hundreds of hours later because the drop rates on AMs or low % on the item itself
apparently you are blind, because if you were not you would see a huge number of players in Albion running around with cosmetics applied, so your claim is invalid
"After 200 hours.."
*me hovering over his profile pic - 179 hours total played, 20hours past 2 weeks.*
maybe play the game?
and eventually focus on 1 ultimate char or ultimate weapon! GL!
So yeah yo uare getting what you want in a few days
