People just don't understand drop rates at all.
Each roll is an entirely seperate roll. Previous rolls have no bearing. Its not like whatever number you rolled is being subtracted from the pool thus improving your chances on next rolls. Thats not how it works so people thinking at 3% . You will have to do it a maximum of 33 times to get your item just don't get it. You could do it 100 times or just once.

Coping mechanism. They need a way to justify not getting their items other than bad luck.

Doesn't matter. People believes what they want. Earth was flat once, and still are for some people in current era.

Also there's no "maximum" number of tries, it's infinity and each and every attempt is unique and always be 3% chance of getting it or 97% chance of not getting it. You roll your dice and hope for the best.

so i guess after seeing so many people making fun of you in other drop rate posts, you descended to make your own echo chamber posts for the white knights.

Watch and learn

Don't need to see those to know they also don't understand how it works.

Neither do you.

these people probably have been playing games that give instant gratification, when this game its all on luck. I've played runescape for almost my whole life so i know how it is to not get a drop you want for days but it does come its called patience but no one has that anymore
Its just prof deformation mixed with lack of knowledge, all of new gen players grew up on gacha trash like genshin and they expecting some cumulative chances from drop polls, but its not how its works here, because game using same drop rates as warframe and another old games, just 5 items in poll, will regular random system. If you take roulette with 5 numbers and will make area of number 3 less and number 5 biggest than other, that no guarantee that you will get number 5 even 1 time, same here

Nowdays the " gamers " dont have time. They want everything in 1 day.
The people dont undrestand the gameing is a hobby!! Not a cool thing or fashion. Dosent metter what hobby you choose, you need time and money investment.
Nathing wrong with the dropp rate. Its totaly fine. Those crybabys just focusing 1 thing and if dont get it just start to cry. Total skill and logic issue for them. But crying is allways easyer then useing your brain. :)

Binomial Distribution.

There you go. It doesn't get much easier to understand than that. Don't intentionally misrepresent stuff as some sort of weird gotcha moment.

sorry but its all chance ..There is no way of knowing how soon you will get it..None at all. Same chance every single time you roll. No math is existence will tell you how long it will take.

As i said in a different topic where someone is missing the point. Unless we get a chart of at least 10,000 runs and what they got for each piece of content, none of the drop rates can really be proved or disproven as anything less is statistically irrelevant.
Taiji Aug 8, 2024 @ 9:52pm
Same kind of logic is involved with Intelligent Design apologetics.

They suggest that God must be real because we exist despite the odds against that.

So God existing is the same as the drop chance being fake.

Checkmate theists.

Farmed every weapon and every descendant. Seen nothing that shows the drop rates are "rigged" because "korean mmo".

Pretty much pointless to talk about this topic unless someone checks the actual percentages at server-side by hacking Nexon or whatever they do. I believe that drop rates are manipulated somehow for both good and bad. Once a liar always a liar and Nexon has been caught several times lying.

Tell me you don't understand binomial distribution without telling me you don't understand binomial distribution. You are either intentionally misunderstanding the entire premise of binomial distribution or you really shouldn't be telling people they don't understand probability. Stop it. Get some help.
