Socket Types Loadout Issue
Simple fix to this issue: let us STACK them.

Don't waste our time and resources, let us stack multiple Catalysts on each socket.
It's still a Catalyst sink, but a sink that is worth it for the weapons/descendants we love.

To clarify, this means that we will have the choice to polarize each socket type 5 times.
In other words, this gives us the choice to put FIFTY Catalysts on a single weapon, or almost SIXTY Catalysts on a single Descendant.

Like I said, this is certainly a lot of work for the player, but entirely optional. If you really love a specific weapon/descendant that much, why not?

An additional incentive to do this would be to add a feature that gives a 1% boost to a stat of our choosing per weapon level reset. Resetting a weapon 50 times or a Descendant around 60 times would take anywhere from weeks to MONTHS, so I'd say it's a more than earned bonus.

Lastly, and I cannot state this more clearly, do NOT make us waste Catalysts on "separate loadout tabs", just let us STACK them.

Did you even read the next patch preview that comes coming tuesday?

Exactly. If Nexon wanted build diversty for real, they would just remove affix types and just reduce the slot cost instead of slapping a symbol on it when using a catalyst.

Have you?

Some people have read it and are assuming it means you can simply "change" the polarity on a separate tab, but I highly doubt that, as what is the meaning of having different polarity types in the first place if you can just change them all willy nilly?

We'll have to wait and see, but I am almost certain I am correct in my assumptions.

What is there to assume? They clearly say:
"If you prefer to use the same socket type across Loadout Pages 1, 2, and 3, your current setup will remain unchanged. Socket type assignments will only be required if you want different socket types for each loadout."

Which means, you inherit your primary sockets in each tab and only change the ones you want to have changed through a catalyst.

Do you not grasp what that last sentence is implying?

We STILL have to waste another Catalyst, and that Catalyst is ONLY for that specific tab. Unlike this garbage and outright RUDE idea, my idea actually respects the player's time and resources. You spend an extra Catalyst, sure, but that spent Catalyst, as well as any other, is PERMANENT and for ALL loadout tabs.

I've been asking for this feature in Warframe for forever, but they have refused to listen. Since this game is a rip-off of Warframe and Destiny, they need to make quality of life improvements that the originals aren't willing to implement.

Exactly. If Nexon wanted build diversity for real, they would just remove affix types and just reduce the slot cost instead of slapping a symbol on it when using a catalyst.

That would be nice, but lord knows they'd rather charge $100 on a "special" Catalyst that has universal polarity, which would only be attainable in-game from an Amorphous Material (Relic) with a claimed 1% drop rate (more like 0.003%), that can only be achieved from a mode that drops the Relic itself at a supposed 25% drop rate (literally 16% from my own testing), and then to open said Relic you have to kill a boss that can insta-wipe your team every 10 seconds and constantly goes into an invulnerable state for 3 minutes every 1 minute.

And to go back to your statement, Nexon does not know how to create something that's original, so on top of copying everything else from Warframe, they won't be removing the copy/pasted polarity system either.

you have my support 100%. it's rediculars. they think we're stupid and don't understand the game they're playing here. it's just more grinding under the name of helping the players to be more diverse.at what cost? our lifes. it's pointless to give hopes to these greedy developers
