Viessa's passive dosent realy work
"Viessa" is a super fun but her passive hardly does anything it 4 main issues holding it back from ever being useful in game.

1.1: impractically slow fire rate.
1.2: to short of a range.
1.3: slow target acquisition time
1.4: projectile inaccuracy

1.1: The damage part of her passive only fires once every 2 seconds //it gets decreased to once 1.5 every seconds if there are multiple enemies within its targeting range // (in that time frame you have enough time cast use 2 ability or cast one and shoot so so by the time it fires the enemy is most likely already dead especially if you are playing in a group)

1.2:Its slow fire rate would have could have been less of a issue if the spheres didn't have a max targeting range of 12 meters that can't be increased with modules. (The range before damage falloff for the "Thunder Cage" take effect is 23 meters so its always better to shoot then trying to walk in close enough then waiting for the passive to trigger).

1.3: And yes you do have to wait for your passive to shoot. Unfortunately even if your orbs haven't shot anyone yet they will still wait the 2 seconds before shooting.

1.4: This passive is made even more unreliable due to the issues that its projectiles can get blocked by terrain and will often shoot walls or flours are even susceptible to miss.

"Ultimate Viessa" has a transcendent module "Cold Cohesion" //this module increase the maximum orbs to 5 and decrease the passive cooldown by 5 seconds (not the be confused with the transcendent module of the same name for "Ultimate Valby")// but doesn't address the issue with the orbs.

[Practical Solutions 1: and #"Cold Cohesion" version: #]

[1.1: Make the passive shoot every 0.7 seconds #"Cold Cohesion" version: Shoots every 0.3 seconds. #]

[1.2: Increase target acquisition distance to 22m. #"Cold Cohesion" version: Increase target acquisition distance to 35m #.]

[1.3: Remove target acquisition time instead fires immediately when enemy enters its range. #"Cold Cohesion" version: Can target and shoot multiple enemies at once#]

[1.4: the passive no longer shoot a projectile instead triggers an explosion slightly below the center of the enemy's model.] (Slightly bellow would be idea to avoid obstructing players vision with particles when going for a headshot.)

[Extra Visual clarity: Orbs now turn blue when triggering their effect and immediately disappear after doing so.(to provide visual feed back to the player since triggers since there is no longer a visible projectile.]


I have some issues with certain other aspects of her kit but having a passive that works would be a good start.

** figuring out all this information concerning its fire rate, its targeting range or its target acquisition was unnecessarily annoying i had to try different ranks of the same modules to find out the range by comparing it to the ability range because none of this info is given to the player. there should be clear range indicator with numbers inside the laboratory instead of the weird cross that aren't even spaced out 10 meters apart **

yeah i dont use cold cohesion only because of how slow it fires or i would

damage is sub-par to Q better to spam that with absolute-zero. and that makes all her abilities singular type. also absolute-zero gives big boost to damage, more than cold-bloodedness. plus you can run fast and her ice trails deal big damage and freeze little things for the set bonus on gear.

absolute-zero is best. ice orbs just there to keep freeze stacks going and watch your back

i personaly use cold blodedness you genauny feel like a warlock with it i spam my 3 and my 4 of cooldown and use 1 when either is on cooldown

I already do plus it wont change the fact that you will always be out of her passives range //12m and the passive does not scale with range // a descendant passive should not be useless or miss

i personaly use cold blodedness you genauny feel like a warlock with it i spam my 3 and my 4 of cooldown and use 1 when either is on cooldown
the mobility and the damage is lower than absolute-zero. i would rather spam Q over Z?

cold-bloodedness gimps half her kit... she cant run fast? this makes what she does best slower (dungeons). its nice for bosses or maybe defense i guess, but C deals so much damage for so little mana im not reliant so much on mp collector and instead can use things like dangerous ambush.

theres also other descendants that can do the AOE coverage of blizzard but better... valby is first that comes to mind. nuking bosses? why have viessa for this.

viessa's entire kit meant for mid to close range. i guess i dont have a problem with range?

thats why i dont use cold-bloodedness. its fun yeah but being able to one shot everything at the speed of bunny is nice.

viessa's freeze stacks is busted just like bunny's paypig suit was.

nexon fixed that i hope they will fix how freeze works too. that would be huge damage increase
