Shields are the worst form of defence unless you are Kyle, maybe Enzo
Oh, that is interesting. I have been stacking shield mostly, i will certainly try def and hp now.
Weird place to do that tbh, i highly assumed that at least the general main quest will stay casual and when finished i would need to to focus on a real build.
I was, sadly there was no one around at the time, but i finished a part of the zone now by following two lvl 40 bunnies who one-shot everything.
shields are pretty much useless in TFD until they do something like warframe did and give shields their own damage reduction charge speed even if it is in mods choice or even better give us a brief immunity to dmg after shield break that will only proc again after its fully charged
Thats really good to know, especially since i am still in the early game. So any shield upgrade is pretty much worthless then?
On your descendant have a max hp and a max def mod, keep them updated as you increase MR 10, then on your guns have 2 dmg mods, one blue one the purple one that increases recoil plus rof, keep them upto date with mastery rank and on your highest dps weapons, don't forget to update components (health then defence ideally and mp when it shows up on the sensor) and the reactor and you'll be good to get to hard mode, don't waste resources on resists or shields (unless you are on Kyle).
Oh no, i am such a noob. I thought i could start with this after i finished the main quest.
I felt the difficulty spike with Agna Desert and had to go out of my way to grind some mods and level them up before proceeding; Even really good weapons like the base Tamer just weren't cutting it anymore with maxed Rifling Reinforcement mod alone.
So yes as others are saying, it's time to start investing in some mods.
Do you mean Fortress? I believe Agna Desert is one before Gulch. But yeah, i need to invest some resources for sure.
