boss killer build?
Any decendant that has a boss killer build? Ive been using elements that the boss are weak to, increase crit and damage but still not effective enough. Any links to a decendant and weapon build?

The only thing you need is the recommended resistence, HP and DEF modules maxed with level 100 components with decent stats and a full spec Thunder Cage (there better options I know, but the mobility helps against the boss shots)

Bosses on hard

I solo Executioner-> Swamp Walker without any Resis. If Resis are on component ok if not ok too. All i need is max HP.
Cant remember last time i used TC. I build a Eternal Willpower 4 weeks ago and now i use Nazeistra,Enduring Legacy and Greg.
TC is ok for mobbing in Kuiper Mine if you dont play Bunny/Valby but not for solo Hard Boss thats always is out of your TC Range.

You can kill any boss with any character. Just some characters do this way faster (Lepic, Gley).

Resistances are pretty much useless and a noob trap. If i remember right there is a video that explains it better but around 4-7k resistances is roughly around -7 to -10 damage.
So you're way better off just stacking tons of HP and some defence.

Bunny has a mod that I think only drops from pyro. It increases her power and concentrates it on the boss. High-Voltage.

Resist are noob trap. Also thunder cage is good mob gun not boss gun. You should start farming other guns in hard mode and go for a good reactor w/good rolls.

Stack HP with some def. You can probably use a little less def if on ult version of the character especially Gley. Exceptions Ajax kind of like shields on Kyle

I wonder if you guys read at all

I said there better options, I only stated I did them with Thunder Cage easily

The only valid point is needing only HP fair enough, but easier with RES and DEF

500k dps thunder cage is pretty much good. I also use a big sniper for FW weak spot pops. Character literally does not matter unless you are in a high dps skill build. But you can finish all content purely with gun dps right now. I actually have not messed with the new boss though, soooo maybe not him? Or at least I can't personally verify its possible to kill him with a TC anyway.

Actually Monk brought up a good point below also. If you are using the TC bossing you pretty much MUST build to be able to facetank. Because the optimal range is very short.

General ammo (white icon) weapon with high critical hit rate is still the best option for everything because you can get +200% critical hit damage with just 2 mod
That's why thunder cage is still popular nowadays, not because of the unique effect, but simply because it's a critical hit based general ammo weapon type

Problem with thundercage and many weapons, is the spread and limited range.

Do many people sit way out of their guns range so they do pitiful damage, especially smg users, made worse by the large spread on such guns.

The tamer is the worse culprit, honestly at this point seeing people with the tamer is a sign it will be a messy fight, they sit back, out of its range with huge spread so they hit everything apart from the weak points causing the enraged meter to fill up VERY fast.

It's a big part of why I used the blue lion instead, sure it's half the dps, but atleast it hits what you are aiming at and doesn't enrage bosses, now using enduring legacy and stand closer.

I find it easier to act on the boss when I'm next to them anyway bosses almost always only sidewalk lol, but its a personal preference

A decent Tamer build works, enduring legacy is a finer choice a very good option

Tamer requires the user to be no more than about 19ft from the enemy knees else it enraged the enemy very fast, while it has great dps, it is awful for fighting colossi because if it's obsurd spread and lack of accuracy, it is o use at all when trying to hit the chest, head ir shoulder weak points as it hits everything else around them so much.

Dosent metter. I saw many many player shoothing with SMG from 50+ meter. :D I think 80% of the player dont even have any idea how the dropprange working.
