Amorphous Material Pattern: 017

I need this for a drop from Executioner. Since the Luna update this seems to no longer be in game. The alternatives for the drop I need don't seem very reliable, that being Amorphous Material Pattern: 021 which is supposed to drop from [Echo Swamp] [Normal] - [Derelict Covert: Vulgus Strategic Outpost] but I've never seen it. The last one is Defend Albion Resource but getting to wave 10 just doesn't happen for me and i'm not in hard mode yet. I just need one more of the drop to finish my weapon so it's a little frustrating.

Dunno if this is for all but for the patterns that no longer drop but they usually are replaced by a variant.

Like have you check to see if the 017 has been replaced by the 17aa variant?

I have and it has. The variant doesn't have the drop i need though

Unlock hardmode and farm 118 instead. 17 was removed from the droptable along with a couple other amorphs to make room for new stuff.
You don't need to worry about nazeistra in normal mode, use a tamer and actually use HP mods and you'll be doing better than 99% of the other idiots hardstuck in normal mode.

Fair enough. I might be one of those idiots though since i'm struggling in Hagios. I'll just have to buckle down and get at her

A good enough strat would be to dump half your kuiper into increased hp module, and the other half into general rounds Action and Reaction or rifling reinforcement for firearm attack on Tamer/Thundercage. Try and get only hp stats on your sensors and you should be good to brute force you way through normal mode.

My man, this was the greatest advice ever. I was able to get through normal with relative ease and I was able to farm AMP 118 very easily. Thank you so much!
