RNG is RNG. A 20% drop rate is an 80% not drop rate. Each and every time.
Of all the thousands and thousands who play this game maybe only a couple hundred of you guys ever complain about the RNG. You just have bad luck.
Maple Story :)
Manipulating RNGs is a way to increase shop sales and there are many video games that do this. Specially, gacha games where RNG is the main gameplay loop. Now, whether Nexon got scared by the fine or not, that is another topic.
So by your logic. They are manipulating the enhanced cells of freyna, to try and promote people buying her for 300 caliper (6 dollars.) When infact, it is jsut RNG. If you don't get used to it now, you won't make it far in TFD. Everything is RNG, it's a grind game. You aren't opening a 10 dollar lottery box.
Maple story issue was a flat removal of the item in question from a paid lootbox.
Not a reduction in chance, just gone.
The game has no way of knowing you're there for a Sharen part.
20% is 20%.
I spent an hour doing 6 minute runs to get the 20% Fallen Hope blueprint.
Got 2 of them in 5 runs when I used the same mission later to farm blue brains for a different thing. Its working fine.
When I went for my Viessa ult code yesterday. No matter where I went, it was 10%, so I was like "Welp, is what it is." Even with the stabilizer, I was pulling the 32% item at the bottom (36% with the shape stabilizer.) and I just didn't give up. Took 9 attempts, got the code. Now the final piece is 6%. The way I look at it? Just farm it. If you get it, you get it, don't pay attention to %'s lol.
This is not something easily demonstrable like Amazon is bullying their workers. You need millions of data points to prove that RNG manipulation is somehow involved.
This whole MapleStory drop rate manipulation even goes back as far as 2011. It took more than a decade to reach a resolution. They got fined on January 2024 so it has just been a bit more than half a year. These types of things because it is virtual take lots of years to preparate. If Nexon ever gets fined it is going to be in many years.
Also, let's not forget that they may have created a new RNG system to avoid detection. As a reminder they have that so called dynamic RNG patent or whatever its name is.
Do not trust companies.

0% yet it took more than 10 years to fine them.
Now, imagine if the RNG manipulation is more subtle.
It can be pretty much impossible to detect.
Also, to make it clear, I am not saying that Nexon is rigging the drop rates.
But just proving how easily they can do it and get away with it.
shhhh don't anger the monkeys they will alllllllll come out then.
also this type of player is the same kind of person to think ''dr.pdfile'' is innocent and welcomes his return as if nothing happened LOL
don't waste your breath...better luck talking to a wall and get a better argument
