Why Luna skills sometimes fail to trigger?

I'm starting to like her. Definitelly requires way more attention than other descendants that I played, but fun none the less.
Basically she have unlimited ammo and aim bot. XD

Anyway, often I activate the same act or another (skills) to keep bumping that second bar (forgot the name), but the skill get used but don't change the beat.
What gives?

p.s.: about the "lyrics" of Stage Presence. What she is saying? I know the "yeah", but the second part I thought was "nova", but it another word. Korean pehaps?

This. You forget about hitting targets, just keep them in the box. Focus on timing with the beats that are scrolling and the ability does the target hitting for you.

I understand that shooting is a rythm game, my issue is when is the right time to activate the skill.

Her Q skill keeps the rythum. Her C, V and Z skills are the beats that her Q works with.

Guys, I don't think you are understand me. I'm not talking about the shooting minigame. That is clear how it works.
I'm talking about activate the skills, Exciting Act, Relaxing Act, Cheerful Act, that can only be activated after starting Stage Presence.

My issue is that I'm having difficulty to know when can I activate it.
Sometimes I just start it, by using Stage Presence, and when I click on any of the acts, will not trigger it. Meaning, no music and color change. Then I use the next one, and also don't trigger.
Sometimes works, and when I try to trigger the same Act again, instead it just go back to Stage Presence (yellow).
Sometimes it don't.
Sometimes I wait for it to end, meaning will go back to yellow mode, to reactivate the same song or another. And sometimes work, sometimes don't.
I don't understand when is the right time to do so.
I also pay attention to the blinking of the skills, what is problematic when I need my attention to the combat.

And you need to keep the songs going on, to increase the secondary bar, so you can cast an Enchanced skill.

Q is ' stage presence ', which means while that mini-game is up you can then use C, V, and Z which those work off Q. C increases dmg done with Q as well as buffing those around you, V boosts MP recovery, Z decreases cooldown of those around you (but only increases your inspiration gauge..so only usful when with others and 100% useless when solo)

Activating your acts is also a part of the rhythm game, as everyone has been trying to tell you. It's not just shooting on the beat you have to use abilities on the beat too. did everyone make themselves clear to you OP?

You press Q and then you need to shoot at those little diamonds in the right time.
Her C / V /Z skill will only activate if you press the button to activate them like you would shoot the gun (when the diamond is in the center) if you try activate the skill while the diamond from Q is not in the center (kinda like you would miss a shot) the skill will not activate.

Ok, I see where you're missing. Her C ,V ,and Z can only be used not only when Q is active but there is a flashing beat they are on. They will only trigger when they flash, or when a beat is up to hit.

So there are 2 condition that must be met to use those skills.

OK pal. That is what I also figure out. It just while I was testing it, trying to fail it or not, I had different results. What made me more confused.
