You are good until 50-60k, after that you start hitting large diminishing returns.
What you want is a combination of both.
Generally a maxed out def and a maxed out health puts you in a good place.
Unless you are ajax, then there is a good argument to double up on def / hp mods.
I hate meat shield tanking, but this broken system, thats all you can do.
50 to 85k def is only about 2-3% less damage taken,instead of a second def mod, the flat damage reduction mods would serve you far better and make you far tougher.
Word DPS is worthless if have to revive you like ten times >_>
edit if your talking about the antibody sets... no they only work on element defense and I run legendary stuff for that already which is better.
See you lost everyone by "just dodge the mechanics" comment. You mean the 100% fully tracking damage that you literally cannot dodge?
