drop rates

so everyone agrees drop rates are absolutely rigged, right? because there's no way some things just won't drop, no matter how many times you try.

I'm just missing one piece for Yujin, the code, and it's a 6% droprate everywhere. it doesn't matter which AM I farm it just won't drop. I have opened over 50 AM 064 by now, also around 15 AM 080 and nothing.

It really feels like it's done on purpose to force us to spend money on descendants.

I had to do a mission about 200 times for a mod with drop rate 2%. But some people claim they’ve got it after 15-20 minutes.

Ult bunny 3% drop rate is beyond frustrating.

i''ve had to da mission 20+ times on a 20% drop rate for the first gold weapon.
Then 20+ times for the second part.
Those missions were 2 mins long.

My friend just did 7 runs on a 20 mins run mission, with 3 bosses, for a piece, we all uninstalled after it didn't drop( 20% drop rate, mind you). The game's drop rates are self sabotaging it.

Chill. I farmed a modul. Its call Absolute Curse. At once 8 hours farm and next day 4 hours farm. So 12 hours farm at the same outpost. And dont dropped. 1 guy was there for the metarials and he get 2 times. -.-"
I got 160 hours in the game but i still dont have this modul. Bad luck i think. I move on, so many thing what i can do and farm. Nating wrong with the dropp rates.
And ye i can say it was timewasting or bad droprate blabla... But i farmed so many another things. I collected 75 pattern 112 and 55 Pattern 113 - Mutant AA. :D

No, plenty of people have felt the drop rates have been consistent with the stated rates. The people who feel it's fair aren't going to come and ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine about it on the forums like the people who perceive it to be unfair. One of the biggest problem with statistics and probability is that the vast majority of humans don't have a proper understanding of them and have plenty of misconceptions and misunderstandings.

From i have seen your best bet to get what you need is to go for the drops with the highest percentage o.o Even if they are harder >.>

Yeah, I did that with the rest of the drops, code is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bc it's 6% everywhere

istg i did it around 40 times to get the 20% drop and a friend got it first try

I am uninstalling. I've run pattern 94 46 times and pattern 98 13 times. For an item that is 6% drop rate, not getting the item in 59 runs is less than 3% probability. I cannot in good faith play a game that is this broken.

Might you say it's anecdotal and not significant? Not my worry. I love grindy games. I've been playing games like POE for almost a decade. However, the grind isn't fun, and I'm not willing to run this another 60x to find out if I wind up getting these items.

again, in a perfect distribution, I would have obtained almost 4 items of this rarity by now instead of zero. Even taking independent probability into account, less than 3% of the time this should ever happen. The First Descendant has lost a paying customer.

I feel it. Like you farming something around 1-2 hours come a random guy and at the end of the first run say " lol i got it ". And after 1 hour later you still dont get it. :D

After latest update I am convinced that drops are super rigged.
In total of ~70-ish runs I got more Energy Activator BPs. than Enduring Legacy BPs I'm farming for...
It is insane! So far, in process of farming anything (and I've crafted every Ultimate Descendant except Ajax) have I encountered this level of BS.

I am not convinced , I see it falling as expected or at the mean average of its drop rate

But I have seen both sides , where one guy get 2 activators in 5 tries sand some not getting 1 in 100 tries

I try to get the 32 % afterglow drop but a 3% energy activator drops instead .

So yeah luck is not your friend

i've fr been farming around 6 hours daily for a week and still missing the code, but all other patterns will drop the 6%
