Outposts is the Dumbest Game Design I Have Ever Seen
Devs. What the hell? I mean, what sort of dumb, sub 50 IQ move is this idea? There's layers of stupid ideas in this design, and you didn't revamp it with the patch.

Explicit Limitation of Player Freedom
You lock progression behind a successful stealth infiltration. This needs a SPECIFIC descendant. You have specifically limited player freedom. We know why. For us to give in and drop money to get Sharen. This is scummy as well as dumb.

Low Payoff
Let's say that we bought Sharen or grinded to unlock her. She's literally useless for anything else. She's there specifically to get amorphs from outposts. We can see that devs gave so little thought to Sharen's design. Not to mention, a successful stealth infiltration only gives you 3%, 8-25% drop rates. Amazing.

Wasted Time
You disrespect players' time. You made us wait 5 minutes for an activity that literally takes 20 seconds. Maybe 10 seconds to infiltrate. Maybe 5 seconds to melt the boss that spawns. Now you make us wait 1 minute. Why wait at all? Why not instantly reset the stupid thing?

Let's see how big of a wasted time this is. Let's say you're farming for those AA amorphs that just released. You have a maximum of 25% drop rate. To have a chance at 50% rate drop for something that has 25% chance, you need to run that thing about 3 times. Most people will get 1 every 3 to 4 tries. For 3 tries, that's approximately 4 minutes.

But this amorph has an added layer of chance to drop the thing you want at 10% rate. To have a chance at 50% drop for something that as 10% chance, you need round 7 runs. Most players will get it in 7 to 8 runs. So, let's say that you need 8 amorphs.

Ludicrousness of this Design
1 gold amorph drop from Outpost with Sharen is ~1 per 4 minutes. To stack up 8, you need around 30 minutes of time commitment. 30 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes of hiding behind a wall and staring at a character for the most part. 30 MINUTES OF NEAR INACTIVITY IN A VIDEO GAME You see how this is the dumbest idea in a grindy video game?

1 out of 100 players will need 40 amorphs to get what they want at 10%. This means that some people will have to grind it out with Sharon, staring at a wall for Fracking 2 hours and 40 minutes. Do you see how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid this is?

Antithetical to Grindy Games
Every grindy game relies on players to actually keep playing, despite the low chance of drops. In order to do so, you need to engage the players in constant activity. This design is completely antithetical to established formulas.

they should just remove outposts and spread amorphous rewards to normal missions. That would make the grind more lively.

Maybe finish the story and get yourself to hard difficulty, the oupost CD drops down to 30 seconds

you don't even have to drop money to get sharen, just missions that give the already completed components, not even blueprints

on top of that, some players have 0 cooldown and can repeat the mission as much as they want completing it even 10 times in a min

I just want one large zone with public events and missions playing that pull me in sort of like Destiny. I hate the different activities, even dungeons are just face roll even on hard. Smash through all enemies on the way to the sponge red bar boss, it's super tedious.

There needs to be a better loop and more organic way to obtain these amorphs.
