You can easily one shot it once you get mid-game in normal mode.

I wish they add one-shot protection to all the bosses because of this. My first 3 bosses ended up with a gley, or nother' char one shotting the boss, or quickly shredding it.
Getting to that point isn't
The first bosses are stupidly easy to kill to introduce you to the mechanics. Trust me, it doesn't stay that way for long. Endgame bosses can only be beaten that quickly via exploits/bugs right now.
