Trying to farm mats for Luna is more painful then the actual parts themselves.

most of the desc are not to bad to farm for, minus a few needing certain mats. Then its farming the code breakers that smash my very soul to farm. lol

I have currently farmed her already, and grinded Hard Mode. Before others mention this.

Luna's Code is going to drive me away from this game. It should not be a 3% drop especially for a normal Descendant. Normal Descendants should not have any parts below 15% drop rates. The low drop rate is just to force a small amount of players to shell out cash to buy her.

Anyway, the problem with her Code is that first you have to farm the Outpost which is only dropping 1 amorphous material per 10 runs and on rare occasions 2 per 10. I am running Sharen and it does not matter if I get all 4 generators in stealth or not it just does not drop 9 times out of ten. This is beyond tedious. So it's going to take 1,000 outpost runs to get her?

Than you have to farm the shards which isn't bad but it just adds more layers to the already tedious chore of farming a 1 in 10 drop. And than you have to use the reactor, or whatever it's called, and try to get a 3% drop. I can't even get the 38% drops I need how the hell am I going to get a 3%?

In my almost 180 hours of playtime I've gotten maybe three or four 3% drops. So I now have to spend 180 more hours to get a normal Descendants Code? How does this make sense? For an Ult sure but not for a normal which will be replaced by the Ult version and become obsolete. It is just all wrong all over the place.

EDIT: Forgot to add that that outpost is majorly bugged. First, the reactor is too close and aggros on anyone even near it. Second, even if you are hidden it detects you sometimes it is super sensitive to anything and everything.

I expect the pain for ultimates personally, For normal ones, yeah, should just be easier. then they semblance out some sort of way to make a profit, with just cosmetics personally. I find grinding for a 3% chance on a item that also requires some extra luck to be madness.

Stop farming for normal mode mats. They're trash and should only be used to farm activators. Even then I'd rather farm the 6% chance mats and fight Executor 100 times in hard mode. Luna took me 2 hours to get.

Only 2 bits of Luna can be gotten from normal, the other 2 from HM. But none require fighting hm void bosses....unless you want to. The mats, those are easy.

Nothing to do with normal mode. Hard/normal doesn't matter if you still need to farm for codes to get access to the chunkier pure energy/highlys. lol.

for me its the everlasting heck of farming the ambush over, and over, to get the codes then to run over to fortress to try to pop chests that are flawed in sync XD for me it is the energies that are nuts to get in bundles.

I have to level a few weapons and descendants . I got one of her parts to drop , If others won;t drop by the time I am done I would just stop chasing her.

Luna's code has driven me away from this game .... 9 perfect stealthy runs of a void outpost thing and ZERO yes 0 patterns ... at that point i turned the game off and now spend my TFD time chuckling at people in these forums .... seems to be more going on with this game than many are aware of ...

not everyone is able to farm in hard mode .... and most of the time, when you try and farm outposts on HM ... you get a "special helper" running around and jumping everywhere that has ZERO CLUE about stealth and thinks they are "helping you" by killing everything before you even have a chance to stealthily press the consoles ... so farming HM solo in a private lobby when fresh lvl 100 is actually quite hard for some, and using a public l;obby and hoping for good players ... well you have as much chance of that from i have encountered as you do getting that 3% luna code ....

Don't farm the 38% catalyst from fortress. Go for the 38% in Vespers, quicker and easier fights, also smaller map.

Same with stabilizer, go for the 10% in White-gulch hard, again quicker and easier fight.

Code, again go for the easier and quicker fight, 10% in Agne desert hard.

Cells, Vespers Shelter 38% executioner.

I wasted so much time trying the fortess drop, large map, tough fights, low drop chance for such hard fights and time spent.

Yeah, got her on release Day no problem, if you just grind the lowest chance possible of course it sucks, you can't even build her till reaching Fortress anyways, because you need the Vault Mats from the Zone, and Fortress is Finale, so just go through it, and you have instant access to Hard Mode, grinding the same outpost now dropping an AM with a 10% Chance for the Part, grind a bit more you can make it till [H] Swamp Walker, 32% Chance...

SO yeah not every decendant needs to be earliest of the earliest, and her drop has Progression, look at Yujin for comparison, all Code drop sources at 6%...

Also finish the campaign first then start hunting for the things that you want.

Yeah, you should not be farming for stuff until you get to hard mode. It's a big waste of time, leveling up new characters are easier in hard mode, and some of the trans mods only drop from hard mode colossi. Not to mention getting the ultimate weapons is way easier. In normal mode go for Enzo and Sharen and keep getting stronger.

If you started playing late, I know how much you want to get to where everyone else is but, take your time. Everyone slows down after an update, so you have plenty of time.
