660k DPS build https://steamcommunity.com/id/ThatSameGuy/screenshot/2510278714055817692/ i saw a lot of videos on youtube with 900-1m DPS build but this 660k DPS hits harder. anyone can explain how DPS on weapons work?

cause for example a weak point build will look lower dps on the weapon cause it doesn't change the dps number to add weak point mods, but obviously greatly increases your dmg in game...if you are hitting weak points

Some weapons benefit way more from crit compared to weakpoint

The "dps" meter in the game is horrendously inaccurate and you should ignore it. It only calculates the mod themselves, and only weapon dmg/crit/rate of fire. Weakpoint isn't calculated, or the weapon traits, or the legendary effects, or character skills and bonuses.

The sheet is broken and doesn't properly show weak point nor elemental dps on it etc.

As others have said you can't fully trust the sheet dps on weapons. Test all your changes in the lab on the same mob to get a more real world idea of what your weapon is putting out

same with element mods, and +30% extra damage is a loot.
