Account Reset with Nexon Account

Can someone explain me like I'm five? I am so confused when I read that Announcement. It is said that don't link a Nexon account to Steam if there's already a progress in Steam for TFD. My game automatically linked itself since I played some of Nexon's game in the past and its already connected to Steam. Do I have to do anything or worry about? I just bought the Battle Pass and worried that my account/progress will be deleted. Thank you

people who have nexon account can link -- understand Override --- their nexon TFD account onto their steam librairy. so they can benefit from whatever nexon token they have.

If you don't have a nexon account and started on steam, you don't need to do anything.
the reseting and deleting refers to the option ingame to delete your account.
unlinked accounts are instant, but linked accounts used to take 15 days to delete
and will now take only 3 days.

It's not you, it is terribly worded and had to look it up because I understood it the same way you did and though this was another helldiver's 2 thing.

I linked my accoount with steam. I created a nexon and linked. Will this effect my account i dont wanna lose all my progression
