What do you mean sir? also I don't think that Steam forums is the place to give ANY feedback about tech implementations to the devs
first and foremost both tech are frame generating, upscaling technologies. and you can employ AMD FSR Frame Generation tech + DLSS Super resolution tech. Ghost of Sushima does it.
My response was because OP is not too clear if they meant this or using both scalers at the same time which leads to me believe that OP does not actually know what this technologies do just like you too.
But overall you are correct FSR is inferior to DLSS.
It definitely depends on the game's implementation of it. This game's implementation is utterly horrible, especially on Steam Deck. XeSS is quite nice for an open source solution and works well on Deck, when this game's servers even let the Deck stay connected that is.
Before throwing insults, next time maybe look up how things actually are. Ghost of Tsushima supports using DLSS alongside FSR Frame Gen, I'm pretty sure other newer games do, too.
Lossless Scaling is literaly AMD Frame Generation... You dont need to have rtx 40 series to have frame generation...
Thats exactly what im saying here you can combine in all sony games, starfield and many other... FSR Upscaler is just BAD it makes image look way worse...
Please educate a bit as you can use AMD Frame Gen with Nvidia Upscaler or any other..
First point of contention, Lossless Scaling is NOT AMD Frame Gen, they are using the tech and algorithms from Nvidia and AMD as well as some others to scale images but lossless scaling while functional it's gimmicky think of it recording your screen, processing the video and scaling it using the same type of algorithmic work Nvidia and AMD do.
Now to your point, now that I understand what you meant was getting AMD frame generation tech only + DLSS upscale (super resolution) I can agree they could implement this. But also their implementation of FSR is not good and it is not FSR 3.1 plus the game runs in UE5 which has been historically not great with AMD tech unfortunately. Therefore there is not much we can do, what you should be using if your eyes like it is lossless scaling, personally if I had an Nvidia card I would stick with Nvidia DLSS and their Frame Gen.
You can use ANY Upscaler with AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen, like Nvidia dlss or intel xess its up to you... All sony ports supports it, starfield etc..
It is 3.1 since today's update, is it not? I remember 3.1 being mentioned in the patch notes.
Edit: Yeah, the full patchnotes mention the addition of FSR 3.1

You arent right about LS it has Frame Generation built in + you can use many upscalers if game doesnt support it... Look up the internet for LukeFZ or Nukem9 Frame gen mods for games.. Mods for offline games and LS for online..
