Can't connect error LE:13

I have closed steam several times and am not getting an update. When I try and connect it gives me an error LE:13 and tells me "The game will close due to the incorrect server version. Please update."

I have the same problem i fix it by "going to Properties > installed files > verified integrity of the game files". the update will start after is done.

Well that is a new one for me. I have had to do the verify thing many times in the past for games. Never seen one let the game play fine but not let me get an update. Thanks for letting me know. it appears to be downloading the update right now.
