they save the data from the keylogger if you were/are suspected of cheating so they can provide proof of u for example searching for cheats or the like.
you know that ♥♥♥♥♥ spyware, right?
I still remember having AVG on my pc, not detecting anything.
then trying to run a malware bytes scan, and it finding 24html lockers, and 4 keyloggers a few years ago... xD
you know malwarebytes is spyware?
and theoretically, anything that's scanning ur pc is spyware x)
but, I couldn't care less, they can see my porn, enjoy ig xD
never understood why people freak out some game company might know what website they were looking at around 4am
You know that any Antivirus, Anti-Malware, Anti-Spyware, is indeed what they protect against? It doesnt matter which one you have, they all spy on you. Its just a preferential choice of which is the lesser evil to you.
My personal preference is Avast! and Malwarebytes combined.
Worst possible ones to have on any PC are Norton, Kaspersky, McAfee... and a few others not mentioned above. Again, preferential choice.
also lessens the strain on ur cpu as most cheap/free live AV programs use a reasonable amount of processing power.
i format my PC every 3-6 months. problem solved.
even if i was to catch a virus that totally takes over my computer, the power button is right there and a format is a couple clicks away
Unless its a virus that infects the BIOS/UEFI, CPU, or RAM. Then reformatting isnt an easy fix.
most of them are on my second drive tho, so even a windows reset wouldn't wipe them luckely x)
never heard of a virus affecting cpu/ram. maybe im late to the game. that would be more of a hardware fault?
