The drop rates are NOT being manipulated
So, I have played the game for over 100 hours now. Farmed 5 descendants, energy activators, catalysts and I am currently half-way through thunder cage farming.

1. I want to start wit that fact that I have more than 1500 hours in Diablo 4 and 2900 hours in Warframe. The drop chance for uber uniques in Diablo 4 is ~2% (not tormented bosses). And it's real. Sometimes I got 2 ubers in less than 50 runs, sometimes I got 1 in ~105 runs. And I have farmed all the ubers in Season 2, half of them even a multiple times. I claim to know exactly how 2-3% drop chance feel like, pretty darn good!

2. So far, I have run 40 normal Grave Walker runs for energy activator blueprint. And got my first one EXACTLY at the 40th run. Then I ran it 19 times more and got 2 blueprints, on a 3% chance. Then, yesterday I farmed thunder cage parts. And the first part had 20% to drop. It dropped exactly at the 6th run. On the other hand I was trying to farm a module with 5% chance, did around 10 runs and still don't have it.

3. The reason why I am telling you that is because I have recently read that Nexon holds a patent for dynamic RNG adjustment and many people where concerned if that is/will be implemented in this game. So far, from my experience, I have pretty solid reasons to believe that this is NOT implemented in the game, yet. Will it be? I don't know. I hope not. But my main point is that the drop chances are real and they really seems to be exactly as stated in the game. However, as someone said it before - you come and see only topics and comments from people with bad luck. Have you asked yourself how many people actually got what they want and never came to write about it?

This whole thing leads me to my last point - shop prices. Initially, I ahd conrcenrns spending a lot of money on the game after all the things I have read about Nexon. However, after playing for a while and seeing that the game is not being manipulated (for now) makes a bit more comfortable buying things. However, excepts for the paints, and the skins, everything else is overpriced, compared to Warframe. Let me give you a couple of examples:

- A Prime in Warframe is ~ $70. However, that pack comes with The Prime Frame, all the prime weapons that came with that frame and 2625 platinum (the equivalent of caliber), which itself is worth more than $90... Plus, the frame and the weapons come with reactors already installed (the equivalent of the energy activator). Every frame and weapon that you buy with real money or platinum always comes with reactor. And one reactors costs 20 platinum. Yes, you read that correctly -twenty! So, 1000 platinum costs $45. That's ~ $0.9 for a reactor compared to $20 for energy activator here... Bunny wants to ask - "seriously"? A bundle of 3 formas in Warframe (the equivalent of crystallization catalyst) costs 35 platinum, that's like $1.6 or so. In TFD ONE catalyst is ~$7.

- What do you get in TFD? For $50 you get the Ultimate + skin, that's it! No energy activator, no caliber, no weapons, nothing. For $50 the packs should come with at least energy activator and some caliber included, or energy activator and 2 catalysts. That would be at least more reasonable.

In Warframe, I never farm the reactors, when I need one, I just straight up buy it. I farm formas, but they take 24 hours to build, so if I need more than what I currently have, I just buy them! I have spent ~$500 there so far, but it was all worth it, because it saved me a lot of time. With these priced in TFD, there's no way. I prefer to spend the time farming things, than buy energy activator for half the price of an Ultimate descendant...

Otherwise, paints are well priced, skins are okay-ishly priced - a bit more on the expensive side, but at least not overpriced. Apart from that, the rest of things are super overpriced.
