My Piercing Light has 72% Crit Chance in the W screen in inventory,
Afterglow Sword pushing 91% crit rate(W screen) not including another 12.5% from the Unique Ability it has vs Colossus and Commanders, which I am unsure if that goes up with the weapon Unique Ability Upgrades because I am too lazy to farm more to test, if it does increase then reaching 100% Crit rate is possible but I am unsure if that 12.5% is additive on top of the existing 91% or it based on the 50% Crit Rate base stats which means 6.5% more Crit Rate.
Afterglow Sword does have higher crit rate so you get more frequent crits. So that could potentially mean higher DPS them more you shoot. Depends on your build yet again. There is also the RNG when it comes to hit chance, if you played XCOM games then you know lol.
Piercing Light also has the benefit of being able to cleanse Colossus buffs, specific buff icons by their health bars which I have no idea what they actually do aside from buffing the Colossus. If someone knows how to check this in game please let me know, thanks in advance.
Afterglow Sword Unique Ability called Death Propagation, you'll need to build stacks to get higher DMG per shot, so consistent weak point hits.
Both have upsides and downsides as you can see. Both of them hit like a truck anyway lol. Depends on what type of player you are and your Gley build if you're using it for her.
->
after glow used on blair
single first shot takes off fully shields and about half of devourer HP
followed by multiple devourer kills ending after 5 seconds
from my testing with the same mods on my piercing light
im always shooting first shot after reloading and from stealth on sharen
iv managed to take out the shields ONCE (single shot )
and that happened after i thought the gun is bugged and i unequipped it and put it back into the slot
info screen shots 73% crit rate
i swap strengthen first shot / weak point expansion here and there
damage difference this huge ?how
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2206955351
@ 3 hours 6 minutes 56 seconds
more kills after
the next one is a 2 shot @ 3 hours 8 minutes 43 seconds
shield + 50% HP gone
It would be ridiculous to patch out, and would artificially punish her whereas other characters (like bunny) do not lose resources on page swapping.
yes they are using blair
ill take a look at the mod
and try to catch the streamer tomorrow so i can ask them
according to my damage number colors i should crit
but then again - as said above
i only managed to take out devourer shields once after many many tests
maybe that was the only ever real crit ?
(and that happened after removing the weapon from slot and putting it because i thought something is bugged )
im extremely confused about the damage difference
"Recently, we saw a video in the community where the Colossus was defeated more quickly through module switching. If we had a bit more time, we would have liked to include a fix for this in Hotfix 1.0.3, but unfortunately, it didn't make it into this update.
The development team does not want module switching to become another strategy. This method makes combat tedious and does not fit well with the run-and-gun playstyle. The Dev team wants skills, weapons, modules, and external components to be part of the strategy. We hope that in-depth build research will progress, but strategies requiring inconvenient control are not what the development team aims for."
Because, again, that'd imply we'd see resources end up dumped on all characters on module swap. That's not happening. The uproar would be legendary.
They already said that they ll patch out switching modules during colossi fights.
This module is hard to get.

Yes it will nexon clearly said this wasn't intended and they are going to stop this cause they don't want peeps switching builds mid fight to be a meta.
If you are talking about midfight module swapping, they already announced they will be changing that.
thats not saying it's bad you can still do all content with it
