Question about the starting character options at the start of the game
This might sound really stupid.
But It's been a few minutes I'm sitting here, pondering about which character to choose at the start of the game.
I was thinking of choosing the female character as always. But then I was hit by a "Holy cow, the male and armored guy looks hella cool too!"

-Does it really change anything if I were to choose any one of the three characters?
-If I were to find the character not suited to my taste. Can we change characters mid-game?
-And in-case the answer of the 2nd question is no, can we redo the game so that we can choose the starting character again?

After you choose your starting descendant, you'll be playing with it for around an hour or two until you unlock the (mostly) community's favorite character. After that, any character you want to play can be acquired through RNG farm of their parts to research and unlock them, this includes the other 2 starting characters.

I cant remember but if Viessa is a choice than take her. She for me, has been one of the hardest characters to try and grind to get and I had massive bad luck getting the last Sharen piece I needed. Not sure how hard it is to grind for Ajax because he is who i selected to start.

You can reset account to pick a new starter but you lose everything, even money spent.

Ajax is the most reliable choice. The other two only work well when you have reach late game and farmed a bit more than usual.

But most people abandon starter choice and use Bunny which you get early as she is the most OP descendant for farming.

You can unlock them later, some much later, along with ultimate versions which are slightly better variants, you cannot redo your pick without wiping your account.

Ajax is very tough, while lepic can become a monstrous boss killer, honestly don't know much about viessa as to her capabilities, id say watch some videos and see which seems the most fun to you.

That means it's possible to unlock the other 2 starting characters. I see now. Thanks a lot.

Viessa is one of the choice, yeah.

Right. Great to know that choosing anyone won't affect anything in the game's storyline.

I'm fine with wiping my account if that means I could restart with the character I want.
Though, from the answers above. I don't seem have to do that. :D

The woman is "meh" she's a debuff class, not great, not bad. Lepic is the dps guy (Guy with no helmet) He's also "meh" till endgame, though he has some really good endgame builds that can instantly kill bosses. Ajax (The cool looking one) is a tank role, he's easily the best of the three for going through the game, he lacks in damage, but makes up for it in being basically unkillable. Though he's not particularly popular at endgame because he lacks the crazy stupid damage of other characters, and while he's still straight up invincible even at endgame, the game has no need for healers or tanks currently as all the content is the game is "WAY" too damn easy right now. (Except mechanic based colossus fights, but a tank/healer can't help with those.)

I tried Viessa first, moved her for a bit when we could move the character, but for some reason I decided to quit to the main menu. Starts the game again.
Turns out I could choose another character. Went with Ajax since I really like his cool armor.
Though I don't think I'll try Lepic. Already satisfied with Ajax.

Ajax is also voiced by the legendary Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia from Witcher 3 :gnomechild:

No. You will play as bunny or gley later.

Yes. That is how you will play as bunny or gley later.

I'll go change the voice to EN later ;O
Using KR currently thinking it'll be kinda like JP, sadly not really. I really like Bunny's KR voice though. :lunar2019laughingpig:

I remember choosing Viessa because her attack skill is a direct fire straight shot, Lepic's was a grenade lob IIRC and I didn't choose it because I was afraid my tossing skills would suck and Ajax... well, he had a shield. So Viessa it was for me because her skill is simple to use. Point in enemy direction, shoot.
