-if not, locate ur installed games, find the EAC.exe or whatever it's named, run that, and there is a "Repair" option, don't change whatever path it chose to default to, just click "Repair", and try again.
-otherwise, turn off every single antivirus "thing" u got running, both windows defender and any other 3rd party antivirus u might have, and try playing the game then.
-disable IPv6 in ur wifi/ethernet adapter settings, try running the game.
-double check ur firewall (if u got a 3rd party antivirus program, u gotta check that one aswell). see that everything related to either game is properly allowed through ur firewall(s) both on public and on private networks.
those are all individual "solution attempts" don't try all of them at once, and remember to turn ur antivirus back on once that test is done.
if so try to revert back to 556.12
i've tried:
"locate ur installed games, find the EAC.exe or whatever it's named, run that, and there is a "Repair" option, don't change whatever path it chose to default to, just click "Repair", and try again."
the exe file named: "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup" is opening & it closed instantly.
for whatever reason, TFD doesn't have the proper .exe file for this solution. u need to find the .exe file called "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe", look for it in ur apex legends folder, once u open it (since it's opened through apex legends folder) u need to change whatever path it defaulted to, to the other one u get the option for, and then do a repair it should be the same name for u as for me so for TFD it should be named "Game 614"
the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" file you have behaves as it should, it also auto closes on my system. (just fyi)
open ur CMD as an administrator, and then type "SFC /scannow" (without the " ) let that run, it checks for corrupt files and if it finds any, it tries to fix them essentially.
This WORKED!!!!
Thank you so muchhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
