Additional reward for successful infiltration

5%-25% acquisition chance
when is it 5% and when is it 25%?

I have farmed one outpost for a bit and got:
-11 pattern that drop as normal reward with a 25% chance
-3 pattern that drop as infiltration reward with 5-25% chance
I always disabled all 3 consoles with Sharen.

I tend to get MORE infiltration bonus drops than the normal drops, around 1.5 to 1.

I don't know what impacts that percentage, I've tried killing the mini boss faster, waiting longer and killing all the adds, it all seems to be about the same overall.

how i udnerstand it is, 5% if u infiltrate (stealth) 1 of the devices, 25% is if u infiltrated all of them

Infiltration gives you a chance at a bonus loot drop it does not change the actual loot drop chances.

This is the only way of getting 2 patters or in some cases unique patterns.

Yes I get that, I have to infiltrate to have a 5%-25% chance for a 2nd pattern, but is it a random chance between 5% and 25% or do I have to do something else in order to increase the chance from 5% to 25%? Or is it based on how many consoles I deactivate and how many I destroy?
I dont get it, I keep doing the mission, deactivating all consoles, but I only get the regular pattern..

Think of it this way. It says 25% chance so you have a 75% chance to not get it.

I am not a probability denier :D I am aware of that. It just seems a bit weird that I get a lot of one and very few of the other, while both have the same drop chance.
Just want to make sure I do them the right way.

Seems like it depends on amount of hacked consoles. Today I got extra amorphous when someone rushed into the outpost during infiltration (2 hacked/2 destroyed)

everyone in the mission will get infiltration bonus

Your chance for getting any reward ranges from 5% to 25% chance.

The order of hacked/destroyed consoles don't matter, what matters more is hacking/destroying all of it to make the elite come out.

Upon killing the elite, the game will then roll for both rewards if you finished it via stealth or not, if Yes then it rolls for both items with each one ranging from 5% to 25% chance to get it.

In the event you get spotted while hacking consoles, the stealth clear condition is no longer applicable, hence, you're only reward will be the regular one.

2. it shows only one item has a 5%-25% chance (the extra AM you get for infiltration) the other one is a fixed 25% chance
*edit: yep bs, you can get infiltration rewards if you deactivate atleast 1 console.

Beats me, I find the entire drop system for outposts annoying as all hell. I get that Nexon can't up the drop chance too much because Outposts take like 10 seconds to clear so people won't farm amorphous anywhere else if they're too easy to get. However, I've taken a Sharen and run an outpost 10x in a row with no drops. Meanwhile, I took Freyna for a stroll the other day and alternated between outpost, reactor, and fragment mission and got a drop almost every time I popped into the outpost. I wasn't even trying to collect amorphous, just kill the Commander to get ironheart particles. So I don't know if the game punishes you for running the outpost on repeat or I just had a run of good luck.

They really need a pity system or for outposts to drop some kind of currency you can turn in for amorphous if you don't get the amorphous drop itself. Though, I do know they're looking at outposts per some of their recent posts so hopefully we will see improvements in that whole system.
