Freyna Stabilizer is not a 20% drop
I've just done 30+ runs of that awful mission and have not dropped that damn item. Judging by the number of people who joined me for many, many runs consecutively, I am guessing they did not drop it either.

With a drop rate of 20%, it should take 5 runs to get it, any more and you're unlucky. More than 10, very unlucky. More than 15, 20 runs, you're getting into the realms of being statistically extremely unlikely. 30+ runs, it's total BS.

A quick Google search suggest I'm not the only people who has noticed that this supposed 20% drop rate is clearly false. Either it's a bug, or something more shady is going on. It's Nexon, so you be the judge.

For everyone complaining about doing 30+ runs, there are people that gets it in 1.

80% chance to not get it, odds don't stack please don't gamble in real life if you think that's how it works.

no, that is not how statistics work. every single time it is 20% chance to get it and 80% chance you dont. you arent guaranteed it in 5 runs, it doesnt add up cumulatively.

It does not work that way, but i think they should make something like guaranteed drop after certain number of runs. In Lost Ark when you were honing gear at very low possibility there was something like that.

@DEGU! They infact did say they're looking to introducing a pity system. In their words it's a 'guaranteed drop' system that gets you what you want after a certain amount of runs so it's not up to RNG. Don't know when that'll come if ever, maybe next big update in 2 weeks. Unless I misunderstood it, at least we'll get a system that lets us salvage amorphs and stuff that we already have and don't need for other items.

I've gotten a lot of reds recently and stuff grinding for Ultimate Bunny, felt bad because people grind a lot longer for those things and I got them without even trying to farm for them.

I quit until something is done for us with bad luck RNG. I needed 21 amorphous material openings to get a 38% Viessa BP while getting the "other" 38% drop 11+ times. Can't get the last two items for Jayber and Luna's code never drops. I'm all grinded out.

And I recently saw a Dev interview where they said it should take 10-15 hours to collect one Descendant. WTF? I am not spending that much time on one normal Descendant. It shouldn't even take half that time IMO since normal Descendants are expendable and are less powerful than their Ult version and will be replaced by their Ult versions.

This is one thing Warframe is far superior to TFD IMO. In Warframe I could farm a normal frame in an hour or less but I can't get a normal Descendant code to drop in days in TFD. Normal Warframes were replaced by Primes and normal Descendants are replaced by Ultimate Descendants so why is it as difficult to get a normal as it is an Ultimate?

To each their own.

38% drop must be in 3 runs. If you don't get it, try next day.
As for Descendant, I think, they meant farming from scratch. So all these rare and not so rare materials too, besides codes and blueprints. For ppl, that already spend enough time in game, they have these materials automatically.

Well, I reread that interview and Director Joo said that the game is about collecting and not deep progression (for each Descendant). So if TFD is considered a collector game than I guess making things take a while to collect makes sense.

So appears I've been playing TFD all wrong. I like progression games. Collector games are not my thing. This explains the disconnect I'm having with farming in general especially how long it takes to get a normal, disposable, Descendant.

I'll probably wait till Season 1 launches and play the last two hours I need to put TFD ahead of Destiny 2 on my most played list and than I'm uninstalling. I'm not playing TFD as a collector game. I want to play it as a progression game and it was stated that that was not what type of game is was.

you are not getting it. It's not 20% of your over-every drop. It's 20% for EVERY single drop. That means it's not tne thing of you are going 100 go and get at least 20 drops of what you need. It's 20% PROBABILITY of EVERY single drop that you do. It's probability theory. Not the cumulative theory.

Random gods probably not like you.

Just as example farmed bunny cells for ultimate for like 3 weeks - nothing. On fourth week on 3rd try got it even without stabilizer. That is 3% chance of drop. 3% chance from single drop to be lucky enough. Hah. But I got that. When someone just farmed it like in a less of a day.

Yes that's what called random with a chance of getting sometihng. You get what you are wanting in some time of you trying to get it. Cause there is invisible roulete that just spins randomly with some chance of you getting something every time. Just like in real life if you really want to earn something that is more than you can afford.

So you got 0,12379400392854% chance of not getting it thus should have 99.8% chance to get it but its propability its never sure
