1.1.1 patch notes are a dissapointment
I guess this is it. 800 hours played but it's wasted as there's nothing really to look forward to:

1.1.0
  • 2 months away from Ult descendant Ult Freya
  • 2 months away from Hayley's modules
  • boring 200+ time invasion to get normal Hayley
  • solo invasion event that's tedious and boring
  • 36+ minimum crystallisation required for 3 different builds. if you want a fully flexible build, prepare for 60 crystallisations for a single descendant which means 60 times of farming your character to lvl 40
  • additional character buffs are seasonal only
  • only 1.5x improvements on character exp gain
  • no improvements on weapon exp gain
  • no improvements on drop rates or stabiliser
  • no improvements on descendant reactor farm
  • no words of pity system in place
  • single use paint are locked behind paid skins (not even ultimate character)
  • all helmet-less head skin are locked behind paid battlepass. they even removed the free one for bunny.
  • no improvements on cheats vendors in world chat or 50 block list
  • no improvements on battlepass
  • no improvements on bonus shops

Sorry but i don't feel player's game time have been respected. Please don't treat us like silly idiots.

1.1.1 update
  • We didn't need nerf. We need something FUN
  • 60 crystallisations for a single descendant. still crazy
  • Free bunny head cosmetic has been removed and require player to pay
  • no improvements on end game play, boring tasks repetitive and without good aim
  • creative director has no grip on why player enjoy this game in the first place
  • cooperate greed shows off once again from Nexon

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seems like a lot of people replying with similar comments so i'll address some of those below:

Play slowly, there will never be enough content for you
My point isn't to say there's nothing to do after 800. I'm saying 800 is wasted due to me realising the path this game is taking. Things that are asked to do feels repetitive, meaningless and a never ending journey. If i have to spend 800 hours to get to where I am today, imagine how much time it would take for an average player. The key is this, the long hour grind is meaningless and I want people to be aware of that. If you enjoying the game's status quo or feel that's how any grind game should be then it's fine. i'm not here to judge or tell you otherwise. I'm simply sharing my own view since people who agree with me probably already uninstalled the game.

Question back to you, why do you think character level stopped at 40? what if it goes up to level 70 or 100 in the future? the current design isn't sustainable for the long run with slow exp gain.

Socket Type Saving Feature Improvements is good change, i only needed 3-4 different ones per tab
There's a difference between flexible module combination VS switching out few mods out. They're not technically giving out a "flexible" when the real deal here requires you to farm 60 times. That's what bothers me is the way they framed the whole thing. What's worse is that that's just for the free player. If you have a unlocked ultimate desendant, the pre slotted slots actually makes it worse and meaning you don't have any advantages there now.

Yes 60 times might sound extreme but picture this. in the near future when things changed, some mod gone better some got worse. what do you do? if you start from scratch, then you're swapping out more than 3 - 4. and sometimes you might want to test things out yourself when you're not sure. If you have to re-level your character every single time to do this it's really draining. Well of course if you're just simply copying pasting what YouTuber or Redditor do then you shouldn't argue with me on this as what you're doing is the opposite as to what Nexon hopes us to do, to be more diverse in mod combinations.

This is great, they've listened to the community!
Please don't be naive, it's a tug of war game. Putting QoL improvements is against their interest of increasing revenue. All the changes so far are not as impressive. Take a look at reactor farming, people farm 5+ hours to get something that is good enough to use but not double gold roll. Player phrased them "listening" for adding a confusing and useless filter option. That's not a fix to the fundamental issue, that's just a band-aid so player suffers less. If they really cared then they should've eliminate bad rolls and reduce grind time.

If you still don't believe it then how about the update on increasing the quantity of shape stabilizer one can own. Instead of making it useful, they simply increased the number. Why would a company that been phrased of been listening to the community be doing such a anti-player behaviour? The answer to be is simple, they want you to grind. even if it's useless and never be as good as the beta version where you could literally pick your drop.

The major things that have been brought up are indeed quite upsetting, especially with how little there is to do at the current state of end-game. That being said, I believe not everything has been said about Season 1's release, so I wouldn't assume a lot of things just yet. Also, we've seen a good few times now that they do like to listen to the community's feedback, so we might possibly see some changes here and there in some of these decisions.

Sounds like a challenge. You could start preparing right now. :crowmance:

Please, just leave. You're so desperate in trying to see the negative here.

- Hailey is coming on Aug 29th. Only the modules (we don't even know what these are yet) come later.
- No, I have yet to see why you would need 3 completely different module sockets. That's total BS. You need 2-4 slots changed at most. Almost all builds use the same basic set of modules with maybe 2-4 varying.
- I wouldn't want an endless power-creep with each season unless the content also changed, which it doesn't. Destiny does the same with the relics. Grant specific buffs for one season and different buffs for the next season. I'd say that makes sense. Power creep in general is not a good idea.
- Reactor Farming will be improved. Read the whole thing. You only need ONE shard run per reactor run. How is that not an improvement?
- They keep banning people regularly, I'm sure those spammers are among them. They will keep popping up though as people keep buying their service. You can't keep people from creating new accounts in a F2P game.

I only need to change 2 max 3 Sockets for a different build not 180.
Ult Freyna+Haileys Mods over two Months away sucks.
Think i take break.

I think he mean not the Void reactor.
The Ultimate Reactor farming sucks with Substats like increased Fire Damage on a Electro Reactor because we cant reroll substats.

Consume so much and no life it, eh? No developer can produce enough content to feed such a black hole...

Mami Aug 22, 2024 @ 4:13am
If you didn't have fun, it was a waste of time. But only crazy people would spend 800 hours playing a game they didn't enjoy.
If you had fun, it wasn't a waste of time.

"■ Socket Type Saving Feature Improvements

Now, once you assign a Socket Type, the Socket Type granted to that slot is permanently saved, so you can easily change it to the previously granted Socket Type at any time. For example, if a Descendant changes an Almandine Socket to a Malachite Socket, you can easily choose between Almandine and Malachite in that Socket afterward.

Additionally, the Socket Type applied to Loadout Setting 1 can also be used for Settings 2 and 3 as well, allowing you to grant multiple Socket Types only to the slots that require multiple Socket Types depending on your builds."

That's huge. Man, I have been asking for a thing like that in Warframe for years (and still nothing), and this game that is less than half an year out already has it. I don't care how big of a Warframe fanboy one might be, you can't dispute the fact that there's an enormous difference between the Warframe devs that constantly refuse to listen to players' feedback and the TFD devs. With this temp, TFD will blow Warframe into oblivion in no time.

So the game has been out for 53 days and you’ve put 800 hours into the game? That’s 15 hours a day every single day since it released lol. Maybe you do needa put the game down and go do something else my dude lol
