encrypted vault farming (questions)
so i just finished building enzo, but got some questions im hoping can be answered here.

is there a difference in doing normal or hard mode exploring?

is there only a set amount of vaults total? as in they dont respawn, and if so, are hard/normal counted as separate or included as total?

what is the current best way of getting the "keys" to open the vaults. and does normal / hard make a difference on drop rates, amounts, type?

The difference is in the reward amount from the vaults. HM nets you more from the vaults and just more in general.

Vaults respawn at different times so you can go back to a location you discovered, same spot. Not sure what the timing is though

If by keys you mean the Precision code analyzers, you can get them doing any mission but mainly extermination missions.

Hard vaults give more Kuiper shards. But the general material amount, like metallic foil, is the same.

Vaults respawn in different but set places in the zone if you teleport out to another zone in the region and return as it resets the instance. Typically there are 2 or 3 vaults in a zone. But you can just open 1 that's easy to find , teleport out and back and try to find if a new one respawns at the same place or nearby.

Run missions to get keys, fast and quick ones like Sterile Land - Rockfall - Anticipated Ambush Point is the best. Normal drops analyzer, Hard drops breaker. Equip consumable modifier external component for higher drop chance. They only drop 1 at a time, random.

From my understanding, the enemies with the glowing circles around their heads are the ones that can drop the keys.

Ultra-precision (purple ones) are quite rare, but it's still RNG. You could get 1 in an hour or 30.

To up the rate of obtaining the keys, find a mission with lots of low quality mobs and just keep repeating. Keys randomly drop from any mob, so many easy kills will do.

Just another tip: If you know where a vault should be, you can check it from a distance by turning towards it and scan. If it is there, there will be a beeping sound effect. It is also a good way to actually find vaults.

Sometimes there is a second, lower pitch sound effect, which I still have no idea what it means, but if you follow that, you won't find a vault.

enzo can be good guner platform only after you droop red mode from vesper hard mode ultimate valut.

Current plan is a selfish build, Focus Fire (fortress), focused on critical damage from both skills and weapons, building shields > defence, due to his regen skill. might not be the most optimal for teamplay, but i will mostly use him to farm anyway, and i think it would be a more fun based build rather than optimal ^^
