That's very true, same here, I make sure to equip the resistance modules, defense, HP and Shields.
When the boss targets you the best way is to not face tank the damage but hide behind the pillars, I seen a lot of Bunnies just standing and tanking the damage with their poor defenses. Also helps if you kill the minions the boss spawns, I see people ignore them and die or run out of ammo.
i dont mind if people down or if dps is low , but when 2 down and resurect and dps is low , ya i will leave.
I never check level Nor do i check mastery rank .
my weapon is around 600k dps so i can almost do 25% of boss health all by myself(on 4 players health) in 1 min, meaning other 3 are asking for carry at that point
There is no need to wait around 8 more minutes to see the failure screen. Also, perhaps its me, but Ive been randomly crashing. Missions, boss fights, just open world junk, doesnt matter. Just hard freeze, then game crash. Not BSOD though.
Sometimes it's obvious that it's going to fail and your time is better spent getting into the next rotation.
Firstly, I think that levels do matter to some extent, but they do not necessarily indicate if the player is good or bad. A low-level player might have high DPS weapons and be well-prepared for the fight. It should be recognized that a player's rank is not always a true reflection of their skill or preparedness.
I understand the frustration when the fight seems to be going nowhere after several minutes, and sometimes surrendering is the practical choice. I’ve done this myself too after communicating with the team that the fight seems impossible. However, leaving the match prematurely at the first sign of trouble undermines the remaining team's chances. A boss designed for four players becomes significantly harder for only three.
Unfortunately, the approach of assuming the outcome of a fight based on initial impressions and past experiences can be a bit prejudicial. You can't always tell if a player will perform well or not just by their levels or the descendants they use. Most average players already try to equip the best gear, modules, and weapons to prepare for a boss fight. Assuming failure too early could be depriving everyone of a potential win.
To address the issue of underprepared players joining high-level boss fights, I think the game could implement an elimination system during the Void Intercept Battle interface. This system would ensure that only players meeting the required power level can join public boss fights, preventing under-leveled players from joining and increasing the chances of success for the team.
So, I agree with you guys that it's important to recognize when a fight is futile, but we should also give each match a fair chance before deciding to leave. Developers could help by creating systems or ways to ensure all players are adequately prepared for the challenges.
I wish you all a good day and a good time playing.
My cutoff is 5 mins. If we have 25% shield left I'm just out. Not even worth it anymore.
But I mean I also get it, game is about efficiency and I see people cant do the boss Im better off looking for another group. Wish there were clans or ingame chat wouldnt be terrible so we can group up properly.
