Does this mean 38k def=38% reduction ? or ill get 30% reduction cuz of lacking 2k def?
The def is capped at intervals % wise, until you reach a certain point. HP is king until later. Res/shield doesn't out weigh either, but depends on your class
There is no gear lvl this isn't destiny. Hard mode or not isnt that important since most hp mods drop in normal mode.
Yeah best components ofc drop in hard mode but 15 k is easily possible in normal mode.
Don't ever mention destiny with me. And what I meant by gear level avg is your progress. your external components (aux power, sensor, memory, and processor) add a flat number to your base stats that are calculated with the mods afterward. So, the level does matter.
And my problem is with people not telling how they get there, and even you saying it's possible in normal mode. everyone who did just said it as such like it's a common thing while others are bewildered as to how.
That person is completely wrong. It's a curve, so the more you have the less effective it becomes.
Unless you are playing a tank you don't need huge DEF. The only linear scaling defense is HP.
There's a mathematician on Youtube explaining offensive and defensive stats:
