Please Let Us Paint Default Skins

I'm not going to even complain about paying for paints.

I'll just say that some of the default skins are very nice skins. Especially the default skins for the Ultimate Descendants. But you can't change their colors. I'm very certain you could do this in the beta. Why can't we do it now?

The simple answer is they think they can make more money if the only skins you can customize are the ones you have to pay for with real currency. But if I like a skin, I'm going to buy it, even if the default skin is customizable. I just want the option to customize all of the skins. For variety.

I was very disappointed that the default skin of the Ultimate Ajax I bought could not be painted. I was equally disappointed Bunny's default skin couldn't be painted. We could customize these in the beta and I think we should be able to now as well.

So, please, make all skins customizable!

Worse is if you do paint them, thry look worse than default as they loose the weathering textures etc :(

Yes, unfortunately there is such a problem with the textures of the palette but only some color.

Also weird that we do t have access to all of the colours and the ones we do look different ingame vs in the customisation menu.

Some do lose some detail, yes. I know exactly what you mean.

But, honestly, a lot of the Descendant textures appear fairly low resolution to me. So, for the most part I'm happy to see them go. The game looks nice, but the textures don't match up well with the care put into the rest of the graphics. They certainly don't appear to be full 4K.

But Bunny's default suit has a lot of texture detail done with normal maps that just looks amazing. And since that detail is based on the reflection of light, it would still be visible detail. None of her other suits have that same detail. And that Ultimate Ajax Default skin, especially helmet, I prefer to the one that can be colored. Same for Ultimate Lepic's default helmet.

I imagine quite a few people do, or games like this wouldn't exist. F2P games can't actually be made if someone doesn't spend some money on something.

If you don't want to spend money on cosmetics, that's fine. I used to avoid that as well. These days I'd just prefer not to be the 37th Bunny clone running around in the same Albion session. A little immersion breaking.

Kind of like in Warframe where they're all making a big deal about you being a "Tenno." So rare! So important. Then you show up on a relay and realize the Tenno outnumber every other species in the universe combined. I mean, the war should surely be over at this point.

I just wish you could be the default skin on the ultimate version tbh.

Default ajax looks awesome, I bought the ultimate ajax bundle only to discover I couldn't use the basic skin and that I couldn't paint the ultimate basic skin, ended up buying the black and yellow one and did my best to make it look passable as I wasn't a fan of the yellow.

WE ATLEAST need all the damn colours!

Either one of those would be great options as well. Customization in a game like this shouldn't be artificially limited.

I don't care about hanging slices of pizza, teddy bears or dead squirrels from my chest. I don't want to babysit a bear cub on my back while I try to save humanity. Just give me all my skins and make them all paintable!

Though it's likely that PortalShifter's predicted quote from Nexon is fairly accurate.

I don't even mind if I have to pay!

I do hate the stupid maid costumes, back pack and flair items though.

They created a gritty apocalyptic war story then... pandas and dinosaur pajamas... Really ruins the immersion of the game, I wish I could block seeing stuff like that, heck it's a big reason why I gave up on CoD games.

Yeah. I can't say I even understand why anyone would buy any of those skins. You can dress up like a maid or a school girl in real life. I want cool looking armor!

I'd argue that the default skins should be able to be equipped like any other, even on the Ultimate, and be colored like any other. But at the very least, considering the cost of the Ultimate Packages, the Default Ultimate skins should be able to be colored.
