Def cap, 80% how do we know that we are at the cap ?
everything is in the title :) i didn't see where i can find the translation between my amount of def stat and the % of reduction. As there is a cap at 80% it is quite important to know when you are at the cap.

at around 40-50k defense you'll be getting diminishing returns from it, however at that point reduced dmg taken becomes more valuable.

So the ingame explanation actually makes perfect sense exactly the way it is phrased and this poor guy ran the numbers just to be sure. Good work.

sensory dep(hp) + (mp) % reduced dmg taken

The health version gives 10.5% damage reduction, the Mp one only 7.5% oddly.

there is a use case for an energy shield build i wanted to put together but i lack in combat shield recharge on accessorys, i think it might be viable but don't quote me on that.
building hp early game without gear just seems like a no brainer, with investment i think shield might be better.
