I just installed game via steam, verified install, account is linked. Still cant get past this error.

Same issue. after i verified my account. and tried playing in ps5. i got that issue.

Try verifying your game files. I only got this update after moving my installation folder, and verifying my files fixed it for me.

I am having this issue as well; didn't have this issue at launch until today.

For me this happened when I was offline on my friendlist. I would imagine it has something to do with the game not being able to tell what Nexon account you're attached to. Not sure if this helps.

This is it. Thanks.

My friends list wouldn’t open so I went into settings under downloads and cleared cache. Upon restarting steam I was able to open my friends list, and login to the first descendant.

I too just got this. Exited the game completely, tried again and it worked. Try rebooting your game

when this happen you will notice :-
downloads "offline"
your profile set to offline from friends list

if so restart steam "quiet"
if still have the problem go to settings > downloads > clear cache

start the game

same problem. It's not a bug on the players' part, it's a bug on the game's side
