Why in a game about guns is the word ""sniper"" banned? why is AFK banned? what is the deal with all the normal game language being censored?

There are a lot of useful words banned. There are probably a lot of silly reasons. it could be a cuss in another language, or they simply don't want people talking about things.

Either way, i just ignore the chat and accept it as a loss.

Not to mention the chat character limit is shorter than a basic twitter character count. Think its like 100 characters tops.

Why is 네 [ne] meaning “your” sometimes pronounced 니 [ni] in Korean? 네 [ne], the shortened version of the casual possessive, 너의 [neoui], meaning, "your" often gets pronounced as 니 [ni] instead of 네(ne] in spoken Korean.

I have no idea why that would be a banned word, unless they are not allowed possession? Im not fluent with Korean Culture.

Reading into it further "Ni" is part of the younger (kpop) version of the korean language and the older more used version is "Ne". They both mean the same thing, its just a difference of Cultural Ages.

So maybe they are trying to restrict KPOP variances in language?

"AFK" is a banned word because it contains "FK" and it's apparently the dev's first time working with chat filters. This means any chat using the letters "FK" or "fk" next to each other is banned. This is just one horrible choice of many. I can barely even use the chat without my message being blocked.

Censorship of words in general is always at the absurd level.

You preset labels are only saw by the user, right? So there is no need to censor it. It tried to name mine for Viessa as "Cool Gal", and got a warning. So I tried "gal" and let it pass, then I added "cool" and let it pass it. Nonsense!

Most modern games are insane with the censorship it is quite literally to the point where context can get lost in your sentences because the amount of moderation

I mean using filters is totally fine when kids play your game HOWEVER maybe you should let a REAL HUMAN look over the words who is also fluent in the language to adjust it.

"fk" is banned? Amateurs. Why not just ban the letter F. After all, if it's not possible to type F, you can only say "uck", acknowledging the ingenuity of nexon programming division.

They want you to basically see a naked butt but a fk too close and oooo bad lol.

It's pretty funny when you realize where these models are from and that's when you go..Oh it's that huh.... These models convert perfectly with illsoft creators.
