Which should I prioritize.

So when you hit TAB to scan them you can see their weakness for weapon type and elemental damage. My question is should I prioritize the weapon type or the elemental damage (preferably you want both but that tedious having to switch a mod every 5 seconds)

I've stuck with my Thunder Cage pretty much the entire game and I'm just about to start the last two areas. The only time I've swapped is during Void Intercepts where it's more important or in a couple moments where I needed a little extra and my Thunder Cage wasn't the current highest level weapon in my inventory.

Element probably, easiest to slot in an element module. Only really bothered doing it for intercept bosses though. Rather have a gun I like to use rather than one with the proper damage type that's a pain to use. Don't know if anyone has done the math yet.
